People get way too up in their feels here considering it's a message board. A place where folks come to share their thoughts and opinions. If you don't like hearing differing thoughts, opinions, strategies or whatever then maybe it's a you thing rather than an everyone else thing.

Think you have to be careful doing that now unless the walk on is an upper classmen. Can't remember if it's next year or the year after that all players will have to be scholarship players. Probably want to fill with a true scholarship player? If they are walk on level then unfortunately I think you let them walk on down the street when that time comes. And to be clear....I'm totally on board with McCollum. All of this talk about politics, schmoozing and recruiting is meh to me. Is that important? Sure, to an extent. What IU, and every program, needs 1st and foremost is a ******* coach. Give me a dude that knows what the **** he's doing and the guys he needs to ******* do it. Period, end of story. Guy wins and guess what? Everyone around will be schmoozing his @$$ and recruits will line up. I don't care how far he's gone in NCAA tournament, I don't care how many 5*'s he's recruited and I don't care how "icky" he is. Agree with all of this and I think it's someone in the field. Only exception I could see is Devries. Darkhorse (left field) for me is McCasland. Most likely is either McCollum or McDermott. Disclaimer: My opinion and I cannot be held responsible for the thoughts in my head.
