Biggest fear at Ft.Wayne zoo.....one of the kangaroos deciding to jump the 3 ft rope and force me to fist fight for the honor of my family. Pretty sure the roo would kick my @$$ I'm not gonna lie. -
Things you're most curious to see this basketball season
rcbowla replied to Home Jersey's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Whether a, seemingly, talented roster can overcome mediocre to bad coaching. We've seen it happen many times before in college basketball so why not. -
Thought I read that they could be getting additional boosts if they meet certain goals like making the playoff. Is that correct?

Kamara in an interview said Walker wouldn't miss another game because of it.

More from me because I'm not "hoping" but "expecting" to win every game. -
And UM instantly becomes a threat again. We'll see if it continues but boy they got a shot in the arm.

Happy for Horton. Dude does so much. I think he'll play on Sundays. He's not great at anything but so good at everything -

We're in a dog fight. Kinda saw this coming. People took these guys too lightly (by people I mean everyone). -

Dude Miles Cross has hands of feathers. Most underrated WR we have. -

Need to run well today. I assume the wind will play a big role being on the lake with no wind block. -
Is there a program that currently uses "I wanna rock" by Twisted Sister as their anthem (or whatever)? If not I say IU turns that into theirs.

Kid wants to play on Sundays and he has the physical traits to do that. He was not going to obtain that goal playing >10% snaps this season. He made the right choice for him and I hope he finds success elsewhere. -

I feel many are overlooking this NW team. I don't believe the team or the coaching staff will, thankfully. However, let's remember this is a team that went 8-5 with a bowl win last year and has a good defense. I believe IU will win but I think it may be closer than many think. I also thought MD would be about a 3 point spread so what do I know.... -
Just a reminder that every off-season we are told about surprise, over and elite performers. I'd venture to say the majority of times that doesn't pan out. I've become numb to these types of reports as much as the doctored S&C photos. It's all just noise. Let's see the results on the court.

You're right about proving himself. For all we know, we still haven't beat anyone good. UCLA certainly seems to be bad and Maryland could be bad as well. Now, I get a completely different feeling watching this team than "just beating bad teams". What I've been watching seems sustainable but we shall see. Enjoying the ride regardless of future decisions and outcomes.

Lots of talk already about Florida, FSU and Arkansas. I don't know what it would take, if anything, to make sure he stays in Bloomington? I don't think $ will be a factor but there's a lot of other factors that IU is lagging behind these programs. Officially already nervous.

I don't think they'll leave for lateral positions. CC has been incredibly loyal to his assistants and I think they are loyal to him in turn. But $ does talk so I could be wrong. -

I could see Sunseri taking on OC solo after Shanahan moves on. I can also see Kuntz moving to DC when Haines leaves. I want coordinators getting HC jobs because that means we're having success. -
I doubt IU gets ranked. Not enough teams to fall out. OK St maybe but they'll be replaced by Kentucky

Renegotiate at end of season. Pay him $8M/year if you have to and make his buyout for another team seem inconceivable. -
