I think we need to be putting feelers out there and have a coach already waiting to take over to convince the donors/have any chance of buying out the contract. There has to be succinct plan.

The fact of the matter is we can do better. We’re at rock bottom and have nowhere to go but up. We are literally the worst Power 5 team! Unfortunately, I suspect we will be stuck with Allen for another year due to his massive buy-out.

Allen needs to go. 0-9 now against Purdue, Rutgers and Maryland his last 9 tries.

Im not here to say the Archie days were great….because they were far from it, but let’s not pretend that a bunch of 3 star kids were passing on us …because they weren’t. Archie’s first class was a top 10 class in the country. He had a 5 star (depending on who your recruiting services were) in each of his 3 off season classes….Romeo, TJD and Lander (who was regarded as the Boogie Fland in his class, before reclassifying). Lastly, “Mr. Basketball” of the state went to IU for 3 straight years. We didn’t have a bunch of 3 stars passing on IU. Archie was recruiting the State far better than his predecessor.

This sucks. It’s UK. Always has been. Time to focus on this season.

If he knows, I doubt he would say…quite frankly, and I say this respectfully, it’s really none of our business.

Being involved and grabbing 5 stars like Mgbako, Ware and Mcneeley are fantastic. We just need to keep momentum moving forward and hope it translates to the court this year.
