Then the question is was the level of damage he inflicted merely what was needed to protect himself from her or did he become aggressive, biting and hitting her seems more than necessary to restrain a woman. The level of wildly out of control and aggression by both parties will likely never be known. A deep dive into his past and subsequent behavior would be needed and likely pursued by IU if he is ever going to be seriously considered
