It seems, at minimum, two top tier guys are backchanneling IU ( Few and Beard), so it appears the landscape has changed with IU's NIL budget being a huge draw.

I have no problem with that and don't disagree, I am conflicted whether I want him to be fired or forced to suffer through the boos the remainder of the season, so I don't lack for wanting him to feel a little of our pain. I just try to not cloak my desire for it in a call to IU to do something is the guise that short an immediate dismissal somehow suddenly shows weakness or will affect the next hiring.

The average annual percentage of D-I teams with new head coaches is 14.5 , so 1 in 7, that's 52 new positions every season with near zero fired in season. Archie Miller finished a 12-15 4th yr campaign with 0 NCAA appearances. People are letting their personal feelings for MW make them a bit histrionic.
