I hope people don't expect him to recruit with UK, KU, UCLA and Duke 4 months into the job. I think we will be closer to them next year. But again I see what you are saying and agree with it.

No reason to start worrying yet. If the calendar says September 15th and we haven't got a recruit yet than worry. But Archie is not going to get flustered and reach for a kid to just get a commit like the previous staff did. If we don't get who we want than we will hold onto the scholarship for next year. The 19 class is much better anyways. We have also handed 9 scholarship offers for the 19 class with I think all of them being 4 star or 5 star. We're fine don't panic.

Comar is there and he is in charge of a lot of things. He ran all of the basketball camps. He is super nice and super organized

One thing I do know is the staff likes how well he can get to the basket. He was at all the camps and looks a little bigger.

Not that I disagree with anything you said but Henry is at Ben Davis not Phinisee. Phinisee is at Lafayette McCutcheon. Which we know they don't care about grades up there :-)

I have not seen him play at all. Just know that he has been contacted by the staff more frequently here lately after losing out on a few other guys. As far as Phinisee is concerned I really believe the staff will wait on Garland and Duke before taking him. Thompson and Anderson should both be deciding in the next month. If you get Thompson it will also help for next years recruiting of Hurt.

Yes I think you will see more offers come this month. Jake Forrester is a name to keep an eye on. He says he's been hearing from IU a lot lately.

Just going off of Virginia kind of stopped recruiting him this AAU season like we did.

I would be more pleased if he left the Big ten. He is scary because if he puts it all together he could be a really good 4 year player.

Take a look at UK, MSU, Duke dressing rooms and then at IU. Guarantee it would make a difference with a recruit. They want something splashy.

I think a lot of people were throwing in their ideas of what needed to be done for the renovations and not enough money to go around. I know there was a lot of chiefs in that project.

Everything I have heard is most people think he is a UK lean after spending the majority of the summer with Cal. Garland will be interesting because does he want to play with Jones or not. The team camp went extremely well. The one negative that came back from coaches was that Assembly Hall dressing room & film rooms are outdated and that does affect kids decisions. Cook hall has those things that are really nice but we didn't update those in Assembly hall during the renovations.

Garland is a PG and our #1 choice. But I'm sure Duke is applying a lot of pressure. It will be interesting to see what Jones does. Romeo would be huge but I think most now consider him a UK lean. Race Thompson I'm guessing will be our first commit of the 18 class. Phinisee needs to have a good July, along with Jallow for IU to pick up their interest. I mean the interest is there but there are several guys on are radar a head of them. Anderson is a must and would like to see Henry get an offer too.
