I have never seen anything like it but I really think they think he is 6'10

For some reason the staff is recruiting him to play center at 6'8. Some seem to think he is 6'10 and forget he is only 6'8. I think Devoe is the PG we want but he is a Florida lean, IMO the staff think Phinisee and Akinjo is the same.

We all need to settle down a little bit :-). I think we have to overcome some west coast connections but he seems to have a special connection to Archie. If we get him on campus than I think our chances will go up.

Totally agree I just don't want him to have great games against us.

I could see MSU getting him and him doing really well under Izzo. But I'm rooting for Xavier or UCONN to persuade him to go there

Yes I think you are correct about that. From everything I have been told the staff might think they will still need a guard or PG in the 19 class. You hearing the same thing?

He's going to visit Bloomington in September. Were going to have a real shot at Hurt.

Yes you are correct it is my opinion that he won't be ready to contribute till his junior year but I will say hearing things from people close to the program helped me form my opinion on RP. I also hope I'm proven wrong. Also agree Anthony is the best in the bunch.

That rumor has been going around since at least May. Not sure there is anything to it.

I think we would take Garland and RP. Garland would play the first two years. RP is not going to be ready to contribute till his junior year. I think even if RP is next which is probably true I think you will see us recruit over him next year if we can as in Cole Anthony

It's a 5 day tourney so they might be there every other day.

Also you have to know that he has already said he is one and done for sure. He seems like the type who would quit school as soon as the season is over.

Could you imagine sending out a starting lineup with Davis and Brown in it. Getting both of those guys minutes would be a good problem to deal with.

He is without a doubt a priority for this staff. They really like him. I'm going to go out on a limb and say they want him more than Watford. I think he will be a Hoosier. Double D is his dad but I don't think he lives around here. I'm pretty sure he is raised by his mom and step dad who is a former NFL player. I'm guessing someone from the Greenwood area on here can tell more about that.

I don't think the whole staff did but I do now that Archie was there himself. He also was the only head coach to fly to LA to watch him last week. We for sure have made RP a priority. Painter was there last night also. Surprising that Holtman was not there last night.
