Very much a surprise. I have thought the whole time that UNC was solidly in 2nd place with him. So I'm going with Hoosier Guy has been saying they have been a package deal the whole time.

Or I guess I should say whoever is 3rd KU or UNC. Sounds like IU & Vandy will be in the top two.

Actually on or before Nov. 14. His family has said he wants to do it before his first HS game of the season. His first game is Nov. 14th.

They still want to make the top 3 even if they have no shot. Whoever is 3rd Vandy or KU really doesn't have a shot for Romeo but it's still nice to be one of the finalists.

Oh I've noticed that you are not worried. Some might say you are overly confident but in my world, there is no such thing so I like it.

I say everyone stops worrying, have some adult drinks, walk your kids around the neighborhood and have a safe Halloween because we still have both coming. They loved us before, during and after the visit. They visited another school and they didn't enjoy it nearly as much. So when it comes time to make a decision they will remember walking across Assembly Hall with 14 thousand fans screaming their name. They're not going to get that anywhere else. Archie has done a remarkable job recruiting these two kids. I say kids because they are kids and kids sometimes change their minds but nothing has changed so far. Both have to figure out how to let the other schools down and announce for us in the next few weeks so that takes time.

I disagree with this statement. I'm not sure RP is the odd man out but Garland was priority #1 at PG the whole time. RP knew from day one that he is plan B. If RP decides he wants to play right away and go someplace else he will be let out of his commitment.

Hunter is from Ohio, Archie had a previous relationship with him. One of the reasons we got him.

That is hilarious. I can honestly say no one has ever said anything to me about anything. Every once in a while I've been told let's keep this quiet till I tell you it's ok to say it. But everyone on here has told me to be careful that people are always watching. Thank you for the kind words. I know for sure your job is tougher than mine. I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut when I get info. I get too excited.

I didn't share that info on the boards though because I was asked not to. But I did share it with lots of you in PM's.

I don't have any subscriptions either. Not saying I don't get some of that info from friends or colleagues. I know Rabby we've tailgated together and I spoke to him at HH but were not on a first name basis or anything. I will say I was wrong I was lead to believe that Billy D was the guy at first. I think we would find room for all of them. But just not sure if Brooks and Watford would want to play together. They seem like the same player. Me personally I like Brooks the best from all of them. But I think if we want Watford he is ours. I would say Hurt might be out of our league but were about to land two top 10 guys so that's not true. But he seems like a Duke kid to me.

Let's all just sit back drink our coffee this morning and be happy we have a coach that has a plan. He knows how to recruit, coach and represent IU. Good days are ahead. We have our PG of the future. Now, lets wait to hear from our SG of the future. Then we will move on to our PF of the future.
