According to my friend who knows the S Alabama source he was coming before Florida State threw $1.5 mil at him. That said, I haven't seen any reports of Olsen committing to FSU yet.

And a very "in house" source at South Alabama and their coaching staff thought so too.

Can't say that the thought hasn't already crossed my mind given the S Indiana connection.

I said that I am aware that he's in the portal and that we might have interest but that I am not aware that we actually got him. He responded that a S Alabama friend & alum told him. When I followed up asking if he's convinced that his friend would know he responded with a fairly compelling answer.

I just renewed my seats & parking for 2026 season. Also had option to enter selection process (which begins in May) to try to improve seats but I opted to pass on that and stay put in same seats. Here's a seating chart from last year showing the different tiers - haven't looked closely enough to the virtual chart for this year to see if tiers changed but I doubt it since ticket holders can keep their same seats. No re-seating this year and not supposed to happen until 2028 season but that can always change.
