Given the info that ticket printing and mailing should be completed by the end of this week just bumping the thread to see if season ticket holders show their tickets in their accounts as electronically transferable YET? Mine have been for 10+ days but have gotten mixed results on transferability from friends and other posters. NOTE: Only season tickets will show up as transferable. Any single game tickets purchased through IU will show up as transferable 7 - 10 days before the game's play date.

This is the type of thread that would be on a ticket forum IF folks knew there is one and it wasn't buried down the list of links to forums on the site. If there is bona fide interest in having a ticket forum it should be publicized and, if not, this forum is the place for folks to share their need to buy or sell tickets. It's really just a site management decision.

Just had a friend report that he selected seats early this afternoon and he was able to move down 17 rows in the same seat numbers as 2 years ago. He did make a fairly significant jump to Hoosier Hundred VC level from Hoosier Fan level.

Just a quick observation from an admittedly rather low number of data points but it seems as though those who increased their donations and jumped up to the next donor level have been able to improve their seating situation while those who stayed pat on donations are essentially getting seats near their last seat location. The good news in all of that is that folks so far are not disappointed by seat location erosion.

Found out that the reason all season tickets are not showing as transferable in accounts is that they all have not been printed yet. Apparently a staffing shortage has delayed things a bit. That said, season tickets should be mailed out next week!

Well, as I look again it does not show a print date for my season tickets. I also bought away game tickets for Iowa and that is where I saw an 8/5 print date. Anyway, when you click on Order History and then your list of purchases appears when you click on FB21 Season Ticket Holder there is a box with 3 column headings: Delivery Method, Printed Date and Seats

Well, seems that I may have jumped the gun a bit by making such a definitive declaration that football tickets are now electronically transferable. I made the assumption that because my seats show up as eligible for electronic transfer that the same must be true for all season ticket holders. I’ve since had several friends let me know that when they click on “Transfer” in their online accounts they get a message that no tickets are available for transfer. I have no idea why that would be and am interested in hearing from others - are your tickets showing up as transferable?

I’ve had a couple friends tell me that their tickets don’t show up as transferable yet so don’t worry. Not sure why there would be a lag in getting everyone’s seats transferable in the system but sure there is an explanation. Just keep checking periodically.

Just a heads up for those yet to select - I have had a few people tell me that they have had difficulty using the selection process on their phones and iPads. There were similar issues with football seat selection as well. Just a suggestion that as a precaution you log in early to make sure you are good to go with your device of choice. To try to log in at your selection time only to encounter “technical difficulties” would be quite unpleasant and nerve-wracking. If it were me I’d be using my desktop or laptop to make my selection. Keep an eye out on the ticket forum for seats season ticket holders can't use. Also watch for the mini-series sale of games when students are on break.

Don’t forget to keep an eye on the ticket forum as the season approaches. Hopefully season ticket holders will give IU site ticket forums a shot before resorting to StubHub and other broker sites so as to increase the chance of having IU fans buy the seats. My understanding is that even though Indiana has not passed legislation yet it should not adversely affect our recruiting and ability to move forward with our well-planned NIL program. Essentially after getting slam-dunked on by the Supreme Court 9 - 0 ruling the NCAA has said an athlete’s amateur status will not be threatened by NIL participation regardless of state laws. They said if it’s allowed in 7 states by statute as far as they are concerned it is good to go in all states so as not to provide competitive advantage. They do not plan to penalize schools or athletes for NIL participation.

My favorite player was Quinn Buckner (a classmate by the way) and in 1976 I bought a full authentic IU uniform with candy stripe warmup pants and script Indiana warmup jacket - I chose #21 of course. Never wore it and still have it stowed away. I can’t remember what I paid for it but do remember it was DAMNED PRICEY!!!

I think it's possible if not likely that we have this guy locked up but won't officially hire him for a while. He is now able to talk with recruits freely but once hired that comes to a screeching halt. It is quite an advantage to be able to have personal contact in a pandemic recruiting environment where visitation on and off campus is prohibited.
