...I'm sitting in my classroom with zero students today, by choice. I just needed to get out of the house. lol We got a virtual learning day because of the snow. Students have a shortened class schedule, including a required google meet with teachers. lol I chose to come to school so I can be at my desk, do my google meets and follow this board today in quiet. ….this is going to go 2 ways. 1. Isaac is legit with creditable source and was/maybe “smokescreened”, himself, then told to reel it all in with the “Brad to IU” info. 2. Issac is a true troll and could care less what people think. Mission accomplished on his part, then he just deletes his acct. I’m leaning heavily towards #1 strictly because of how strangely and quickly Goodman’s very vague statement shut things down.

Nope. Goodman may have been approached by the Celtics or Stevens to put out a short statement to put some fires out till he is officially ready. It’s just so matter of fact, short and sweet. IMO, if I’m going to publicly separate myself from the IU coaching position once and for all, I’m going to release some more verbatim quotes to support this claim officially.

I will say this. It’s no secret that I’m huge Steven’s fan and have been when it all started 4 years ago. With that being said, I’m going to choose to believe there is still a chance and no, I’m not crazy or delusional. The odds are against us because of the way it happened the last time, this time just seems different. The “elephant in the room” is the one tweet from Goodman stating the ONLY quote from Steven’s saying “I thoroughly appreciate being a Celtic and love the people I get to work with every day,” Stevens told @TheFieldOf68. This is the ONLY thing the various media outlets have used to dispel Brad NOT coming to IU. This may very well true and accurate. If so, then we just move on. However, that statement also leaves you wanting more detail. It’s implied that Brad told someone verbatim, that he is definitely not a candidate for the IU coaching opening for next year. There is nothing posted where he was quoted saying anything close to that. IMO, this just says, “Guys, leave me, my family and my team alone right now, I work for the great Boston Celtics. I want to enjoy the All Star Break with my team!” JMO

….not to drag this out, but Brad really didn’t say anything he wasn’t supposed to say in that supposed “sourced” statement to Goodman. There was nothing quoted from Brad saying he was interested in the IU job nor did it say he was not taking it. He just said what he is supposed to say at the appropriate time while still employed by the Celtics. Look, Im not saying we are still getting Brad because it’s always been a huge long shot. I’m just saying things are eerily quiet! The only noise is all the “told you so people”! This statement came out of left field today when things with Brad appeared to be close to the goal line. Something just seem very odd.

….my guess is a couple things. 1. Real smoke screen 2. Chris, AP, Jerry are all trying to find out what is really happening and post some sort of news later on. (Crickets right now) 3. They have been told by their sources to “shut up” and say nothing more because things were getting out too much, too soon. 4. If 3 is true, they may be telling them to play the smokescreen card too so it doesn’t get out of hand. (Crickets right now) 5. Chris, Jerry and AP were all fed smokescreens early on to think it’s Brad and really someone else. JMO GO IU!

Didn’t one of the posters/supposed sources mention to not be surprised if we here the opposite from Brad to keep things cooled down with Celtics?
