He was right all along. Barry Alvarez is retiring. Was that...not what...we were expecting? -

Although as well as they are playing, and as poorly as the Bucks had been playing, a loss wouldn’t be great. The massholes would be less than pleased. -

Nobody knows what’s going on. But I know this is that is going on. That seems a bit of an oxymoron, no? Was he told by a source? The same type that everyone else uses? in Mr Yeagley we trust. -

Correct me if I’m wrong but the tomorrow date is arbitrary and not connected. The sourced chatter maintains there is still smoke coming from the Brad train. Tomorrow may come and go but that wouldn’t rule out a transition to BS. -

You fool! He was calling to offer you a job or at the very least get you to sign off on his hire. or he knew you were on the forums and needed a rundown of what you’ve seen. -

No no no. We don’t know that. We broke up with him. -
Is it possible that because Evansville is in a different time zone that they’re just now hearing about a coaching change?
-
Word is he’s bringing Martha Stewart on as a “nutrition expert”. She’s also got a side gig as a financial advisor for the players.

Thanks to my detective work, judging by his Twitter follows, the new coach with either be Ezekiel Elliot of the Cowboys or Snoop Dogg.
-
The media never got a straight answer out of him. He was always full of parables. Not to mention his entourage that followed him everywhere. One of those guys was a complete sellout too. That’s a hard pass.

His personality was garbage and was a horrible public speaker. His brother, Aaron tho, he was a personality—though I think his program had some involvement in the Adidas mess...

Very possible. The NBA is not my cup. The current Celtics team is an island of misfit toys. Either way no changes are made this year unless there’s a big falling out or they drop out of the playoffs. -

I guess in theory if the Celtics tank the rest of the year and the stars demand trades and IU STILL doesn’t have a coach...but who knows what will happen. -

If I had to guess... The admin reached out about any possible interest. Interest was tentative. As things heated up and interest was further reciprocated, the BS camp said, in order for this to happen, we would need A, B, C, and D. Behind the scenes, the admin worked and got everything out together. The entire time, deniability was key and this the non answer the first time. When Indiana presented the requested A, B, C, and D to BS, he pontificated and decided nah. Whether that involved BS telling Ainge is unsure. I would assume sources and boosters and the admin were of the understanding that providing a contract with A-D would lead to a yes, it actually only lead to serious consideration from BS. The press conference after his decision was most likely a joint discussion with Ainge where BS tried to score some points with his base and close down the discussion. anyway that’s my guess. Ultimately a misunderstanding. We secured everything requested by the two parties but ultimately the NBA is too attractive to turn down. Also the owner is behind him. Ainge gets cut before he does unless all the players band together to call him an idiot which is unlikely. -

He’s played so little for the Celtics he may still have eligibility to follow him back to IU. He’s had a rough go. -

Brad Stevens is the new coach of IU basketball but due to contract restrictions will be coaching via cell phone and Zoom while simultaneously remaining on the Celtics sideline. Tacko Fall is now averaging 32 mins a game. Bob Einstein (RIP) has been hired as a surrogate on the IU sidelines.
