Late commenting on this because I was watching the CUBS WIN! Anyway, I too was disappointed with his first game and the Thunder fans were ripping him on their message boards. For most of the game he was stuck on 4 points with 6 of his 10 coming late. Haven't watched all the game yet.

Great game for Victor, high scorer with 34 pts.

Husband, who is a Hoosier by marriage, talked me down from the ledge today and said he'd spring for league pass so I could still watch all of Victor's games. He's actually madder about this than I am because he thinks Hennigan didn't get enough for Victor. He always told me they would never trade him unless there was a superstar in return. Starting to think it's time for the GM to go. We were watching the feed from the draft room and Vogel didn't look happy so I'm thinking he wasn't 100% on board with this mess. #ThunderUp

I'm okay, but I'M NOT HAPPY!!!! I just got some gear in the mail today, that I boxed up ready to return. I can't cancel my season tickets, but I will be selling a bunch and turning the rest in for really good seats behind the visitor bench when OKC comes to town! Won't be renewing them. I'll always be a Magic fan, but this is a horrible trade! Guess I'll got back to only paying attention to big games and the playoffs with the NBA. I'm happy for Victor that he gets to play with such a good organization! Geez and the Cubs just dropped their 4th in a row. Come on!!!!

Magic fans are over the top excited about this! Skiles did us a BIG favor resigning and exactly a week later they sign Vogel!

So excited that Victor gets to play for Frank Vogel! I have never seen Magic fans so unified that this is a great hire!

I thought I saw him in a cap and gown too, Kepner. How is that possible if he's not done?

Magic Fans love Victor! Hope the next coach appreciates and works with him!

Watch the games! He is put on the opposing team's best offensive player most of the time and holds his own. When he is out it all goes to hell! At this point on the Magic, he is not getting help on defense much at all. He has also played huge minutes under Skiles and frankly, at the end of games, is worn out. Numbers alone don't tell the whole story. A lot of those statistics are subjective, we are amazed, for example, of the steals he doesn't get credit for in a game. He is so active and making things happen when he's in there.

Most of this is just wrong! Victor was their best defensive player all year. I watched all of their games either live or on TV and that simply is not true. He can't be the first scoring option, but that is the fault of the team's current make up. He doesn't have the right pieces around him yet. You can complain about some inconsistencies in shooting, but not his defense........EVER!

Someone in Orlando just suggested he might want the Pacers job!

Well, this happened today! Scott Skiles resigned. “After much thought and careful consideration, I and I alone, have come to the conclusion that I am not the right head coach for this team,” said Skiles. “Therefore, effective immediately, I resign my position as head coach of the Orlando Magic. I realize this type of decision can cause much speculation. The reality though is in the first sentence. It is simple and true. Any other rumors are pure conjecture.” “I sincerely apologize for any unintended consequences that may adversely affect anyone associated with this decision,” Skiles continued. “The Magic are a world-class organization that employs world-class people. I wish them nothing but great success. I will always be thankful, especially to the DeVos family, for the opportunity.”

I have no idea, but from time to time we've seen his mom and sisters in the stands, usually around holidays. Last year we got to sit a few rows from them after the game, we stopped his Mom and told her how much we loved watching Victor play. She probably thought I was nuts when I hugged her. LOL! He may have seen him when they play in Washington.
