  1. Oh my Lord, the dude is freaking coming back. I am going to need to leave being a fan of IU sports! If he is back, who is up for a paper bag demonstration in front of the Hall!
  2. That is not Cody's account
  3. Fire them both. I just sent another email to the president of IU.
  4. His results need to result in him leaving, either by his choice or our choice! If he is retained we should stage a protect in front of Assembly Hall. They were cowards to move the game, then we can give the media something to see right in front of the Hall to show our displeasure. I am sure we could get a few thousand people to make the journey. Also, another good idea would be for anyone attending tonight's game to wear a brown paper bag over their head to show displeasure. We need to keep making it uncomfortable for Mr. Glass so he will be forced to act.
  5. My latest letter to Mr. Glass: Mr. Glass, I am a graduate of Indiana University, a season ticket holder and a lifelong Hoosier fan. I am sure you have been getting a lot of email and I know this is just one more, however I felt compelled to write it. I am disappointed in our results as a basketball program and the decision to forego hosting the NIT game. I am disappointed due to the amount of resources being allocated to the men's basketball program with very substandard results. The top ten recruiting budget along with a top ten salary for a head coach should result in similar top 10 results. Over the last seven years we have barely averaged top 10 results in the Big Ten Conference let alone nation wide. I would hope that a change would be in the future as these results are unacceptable. I am also disappointed with the decision to not host an NIT game at Assembly Hall. This would have been an opportunity for kids that don't get an opportunity to come to regular season games due to cost and other constraints (ticket availability). Also, it would have been a great opportunity for the University to "donate" a big block of student tickets (since they are on spring break) to the local and Indianapolis Boys and Girls Clubs, Big Brothers Big Sister and other kids charities. It would have been a great atmosphere and would have made some kids very happy. This would have been a very positive PR event for the University and would have garnered headlines. Thank you for your time and I hope that a change will be made so we can be competitive and relevant in college basketball.
  6. Since they moved the game to a "safer" place, I would say it is highly likely he will give him the vote of confidence tomorrow. He doesn't want the game packed with loud boos at Assembly Hall for his decision to retain. Little does he know that next year will be full of booing fans with pent up anger at the decision.
  7. Well he did hire a football coach without conducting a search... Nothing surprises me with Glass. I will just need to move on and so will a lot of others. Assembly Hall will be interesting next year if Crean is on the sidelines. He will be very uncomfortable which is why I don't understand why he won't leave.
  8. Is this a guess or are you in the know about the specifics?
  9. Did IU basketball just tweet this out from a previous tweet? If so, not good...
  10. I really hope you are right.
  11. Well Crean wants to be seen in public recruiting or he would not have gone out tonight... Something tells me that Glass does not have the balls to fire him. I did not watch a game at the Hall this year despite being a season ticket holder for 12 years. I will not go to a game next year with him as the coach, and I have already told Glass that I am done contributing to the school and program until he is gone. We need even more people to write Glass and do the same. Dry up the funds going to the program and get it done. I am a two time grad of the school and am disgusted with this lack of athletic oversight. From not conducting a proper football search to this debacle, I am through....
