IU can’t ever settle for 3 pointers. The first 11 minutes that’s all they did. Juwan barely touched the ball. I have no idea who Newkirk thought he was in the 1st half shooting 3 pointers beyond NBA range when he can’t even hit a 12 footer.

Give me 4 McRoberts and Juwan. That’s How Virginia wins

Iu will upset Ohio State or Michigan State at home. Iu is over due to shoot lights out

I honestly miss Harrison Niego. I’m not even joking. Played great defense and made the simple passes (simple) and not with any street ball style.

Last post before going to bed but what did Crean ever see in Freddie? I hate to put a kid down. He has no shot he’s way undersize. His defense is below average. I’ll give him that he’s a good rebounder when he actually catches the ball. But he travels every time under the basket. I would seriously want to know what made Crean recruit Freddie over a 5th year player or a Freshmen. I don’t think Freddie even played much last year so what’s the point of recruiting him. -

Actually sometimes I think Newkirk doesn’t know the plays. Tonight he called a play Iu starts running it and throws it behind McRoberts. I tried not to laugh but I go you literally just called the play you should know as the point guard where everyone is going. I don’t even want to imagine our POints guards against Purdue Sunday. -

No way IU beats ND under Crean. Archie had numerous designed plays out of a timeout. Crean would literally have ran the weave of death and prayed someone would hit a 3. -

He’s thinking oh crap I’m gonna have to play the whole game next year if he’s backing me up. -

Honestly Archie is probably beating himself he isn’t succeeding this year. Archie could have a team of D3 caliber players and would want to succeed. Remember Crean constantly made excuses and threw his team under the bus. Archie knows this teams limitations but at the same time he’s faced adversity at Dayton multiple times and still had stellar results. But I agree in 2 years Archie will make sure his priniciples are being applied. And 2 years if someone makes a bonehead move honestly he’ll have the depth to say hit the end of the bench if you don’t want to play my way. -

IU can’t afford to play Freddie against Purdue. Honestly rather see Priller in against Haas than him. Priller could hack a Shaq him the first 4 minutes. I would like to see more Moore and Smith. IU May not win the next 3 games but I just want them to limit mistakes and play basketball smartly. The main goals for the rest of the season should be to make sure Race doesn’t get hurt in practice, Juwan stays healthy, and Durham gets confidence in his shot. -

Iu has to get a grad transfer PG to backup RP. I don’t want any of these guys to help mentor him. -

Honestly I feel for Hartman. The dude comes back and can’t buy a basket. He seems off balanced on his shot. -

I think Juwan is smart like Yogi was in terms of fouling and sometimes you just have to play him even in foul trouble without him IU speeds up and panics. I think sometimes we take Juwan out too long.
