Same team. However, showing my age here, my degree is the pioneer (IUPUI campus) and kicked off the school. The year I got my B.S. was like the first year of Informatics. The graduating class before me was the actual pioneer of the B.S. degree. It was called Media Arts and Science and I'm not even sure that's offered or what they call it anymore. But it's basically what you are describing (Informatics) now. It's a very wide range of technology. I chose computer science as my concentration. And no new building while I was there. They broke ground right after I graduated. How I got my foot in the door for that degree was audio. I wanted to pursue sound engineering and the placement staff at IUPUI suggested I look into what they called at the time 'New Media'. Extremely thankful I did because I found a completely different niche. And I don't know if that would have ever occurred if I didn't have such a wide range of technology to explore. Wow, it's been over 20 years since I even thought about it. LOL! Does Informatics still go down the realm of "art", like 3D modeling, audio, video and graphics?

This^^^^ I've said on here before that if I were coaching in the NCAA this would be my strategy for building a team, in any sport. Every team in the final four has at least 1 transfer in the starting lineup and only one team (UCONN) is starting a freshman. (Not counting Boyd with FAU because he had 23 games under his belt the previous year.) Miami has the most transfers in the starting lineup with 3 (Pack, Omier, Miller). EDIT: And if I were fortunate enough to be offered a scholarship to play at the next level I would make my school of choice based on NIL dollars offered, coach's development success, or school's rep in a certain sector. Probably in that order as well. And if none of those worked out I would feel fine with that because I'll have the option to transfer out.

Isn't Banks an in between Wing/Post? Also, this might not be the popular opinion, but I think Bates is going to dramatically improve should he stick around. Cause man, when he's on he's on. Especially on the defensive side of things. It's just a matter of him being consistent.
-
I'm under the same assumption. Could you elaborate? I'm not familiar with the Ball St. offense Lewis runs.

Ok.

A bit more athletic, higher amount of minutes played, higher FG%, higher REB avg, higher AST avg, more PTS per game, is from the state of Indiana so understands the culture here, coached by an ex IUBB player and other differences fellow users have pointed out.

Probably looking to replace Isaiah Swope. For personal reasons I'd like to see Swope wearing the cream and crimson. Not sure he's what CMW is looking for but wherever he ends up that team will instantly improve.
-
I trust CMW will do his best to get his team ready for next season. I'm also looking forward to see what kind of team he has in mind. Enjoy the ride folks, I suspect it's going to be a tough team with grit that creates shots off their defensive play.

How to fix the Big 10 and its constant failure during March Madness
Lebowski replied to iubb's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball

I've had some similar conversations with fellow IUBB faithful. One in particular was hitting on 3 and 4. I just disagreed with him and pointed out JHS is wearing the uniform and should be grateful! I'm searching for that postgame interview/video online and can't find it. Could someone post it? Thanks in advance and I truly appreciate it.

How to fix the Big 10 and its constant failure during March Madness
Lebowski replied to iubb's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
My perception that night against Arizona was the game was officiated completely different then the three previous games IUBB played. Officials do indeed change the complexion of a game and that night was a prime example. Thus causing me to tweet a receipt for this very conversation. But I do understand what you're saying here and somewhat agree with it. It's possible there could be multiple reasons why the conference suffers year after year in the NCAA tournament. It's been going on for decades now. Trying to figure out what's been consistent for those decades and changing that is what matters here. I don't think there's a silver bullet but I do think there's a starting point to address (officiating). In my opinion, it will change how teams are recruited and completely overhaul programs. -

Arizona game this year. -
Today we're about to find out if the B1G is contender or pretender. 5 games slotted today. With Maryland kicking it off. Let's hope the conference doesn't poop the bed folks! https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/schedule/_/date/20230316 Here's to not getting any work done for the next two days!

Look I'm no fan of that school to the northwest but they're a 1 seed, beat non conference 2, 3, 5, and 9 seeds during the regular season and won the regular and tournament conference with those two freshman guards. They must be doing something right. I do agree with your officiating comment for sure. It's been an issue for decades.

Bummer man. https://www.yelp.ca/search?find_desc=bars+to+watch+march+madness&find_loc=Toronto%2C+ON Good luck!

NIL is a whole new variable that will make his decision a little more difficult. Regardless, I'm thankful he's wearing the uniform and playing for the cream and crimson.

(2025)- Trent Sisley to INDIANA
Lebowski replied to Uspshoosier's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
It is. It reminds of a mini Roberts Municipal Stadium. There are a few down south that have the same kind of look and feel. Boonville, Springs Valley, old school Evansville North come to mind. I'm sure I'm missing others. Probably the same contractor that constructed them if I had to guess. What I like about SR's gym is that it's in the heart of town and nowhere near the high school. That state of Indiana is the mecca of basketball gyms. It really is. I'd like to check a game at Southern Wells. That gym looks pretty cool. https://twitter.com/HoosierTemple -
