I get that but usually not till Junior or Senior year. Good mix of old school, watching kids progress and reloading. Again, im stuck in the past. I know. But I'd much rather build a program around kids 3 yrs at a time than every yr a complete reload. Showing my age and delusion probably. -

I may be alone here but I can't stand this portal crap. I hope DROCK prioritizes Indiana high school kids and builds the program back up via that avenue. Even if it takes a couple yrs. Just my take. -

I don't see Scott hiring a Woody caliber replacement (Brownell etc.) Imo he's either going for the GRAND SLAM or the next big up and comer. Sideways move cannot be in his cards. He's smarter than that.

Sorry but I'm way more interested in giving McCullum a go than I am the likes of freakin' Brownell! There is quite a bit more possible upside to McCullum. Brownell is the equivalent of whiskey d*ck.

I personally find it hard to believe that Scott doesn't already have it wrapped up this close to portal time. He may not have it signed officially due to timing and certain situations but I'd like to think he knows who it is going to be.

Just trying to put myself in Scott's shoes for a sec. If I'm him, knowing this has to be a STUD hire, there's just no way I would consider someone like Brownell. I'm sure Scott is quite a bit more educated than I, he's gotta know better than to make a hire like that! Right?

How weak are we gonna look as a program with all we have to offer if at the end of all of this we end up hiring Brownell! I'm gonna be honest, that's a laughable situation if it happens. I'll be beyond upset and disappointed to where I just laugh but that's just me.
