Now that Saban has retired, does Brian Kelly have the most punchable face of any NCAAFB coach? What a detestable rat he is. Hope So Carolina runs it up on them.

Agreed, if it was indeed inappropriate and wide-spread, there is no way that stays quiet this long.

IUFB @ UCLA - 9/14 @ 7:30ET on NBC
Hardwood83 replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
I hate the mega conference mania that has UCLA as a B1G game...but seeing a IU play in the Rose Bowl would be sweet. Winning there? Fantastic! The timing of this game didn't allow it for me :( -
Interesting. I wonder if Meyer has the juice left? ND and NCAAFB are in a whole new paradigm from just a few years ago.

Tell me about it. I've been to 3 IU @ NU games. Record? 0-3. Freaking sucks. Haven't been to Buttgers, but was at the gavin games @ Seton Hall (2017?), ugly loss. New Jersey and Kevin Willard suck too!

(2025) - PF Eric Reibe to UConn

Das ist Sehr gut! -
It was very ugly football for sure, but those officials were extraordinarily bad too. That old saying "you could call a penalty every play" was put into practice.

No doubt, just like a 4yr old likes sprinkles on ice cream. They are useless and stupid, but exciting to immature minds. -

So much silliness- what does having all 4 coaches there actually accomplish? "Look how much we care, we have 4 people in the same room with you!!" Not sure I'd take the port-a-potty job instead though! -

I would like to order the value pack (Mullins, Sisley & Reibe) with a side of Haralson and supersize it with a Tiller too! -
I noticed before they were up 73-0 and now 76-0. If you are up more than 10 touchdowns and kick a field goal, you are a total @$$-hole.

Nice set-up. I hope you catch whoever vandalized it with White-Sox paraphanalia though :)

One positive, on the RPO, I genuinely don't know what they're gonna do. Usually it's pretty obvious. Some good ball-handing and reads. Having an experienced QB is nice. -

Looks competent so far. Which is 2 levels better than some recent vintages. Not blowing people off the ball,, but there are holes and pass pro seems decent so far. -
Braylon Mullins (2025) SG - to UConn

Standards?! In Kentucky? I guess they have some standards: The fewer teeth the better. Maybe having a working fridge on your MaMaw's porch, powered by electricity you pirated from that uppity neighbor, of course. And a credit line with your meth dealer.....that about sums up the good life down there. -

And now I'm thinking about root beer floats! A couple weeks ago I thought Mullins was a lock and Haralson was headed for Kansas or whatever. Now the tables seem to have turned. Would be disgusting if Mullins goes down to Sister Humping U! -
I did the same thing with that Peacock promo last year. They did have a $20/yr special earlier this summer I tried to use, but it wouldn't let me extend my current susbscription with it. Not sure how that will work as the end date gets closer. I will likely extend it, even though last year I only watched about 1 1/2 games on there. Michigan and I think it was Rutgers that I turned off at halftime and then took a little break from IUBB for a little while after that :).

Agreed and think that is the role he's made for.
-
Just a few years ago the Power teams engaged in vague "secret scrimmages" and now they are full blown charity events. I'm not completely against it, but an odd dynamic. At this rate, in a couple years there will be a full blown pre-season like the NFL.
-
He's already got the hat!
-
You're not wrong. He is great at getting attention and creating hype. Results though??? Does anyone believe his routine is sustainable? I predict he's got 2, maybe 3 more season at CU before he's gone.

Do you see getting Haralson as a + or - for Mullins recruitment? -

I'd love for IU to get him (just like woulda loved Moreno) but not a "must" imo. A center is likely the best position to get in the portal. Let them develop through that awkward phase somewhere else for a season or 2 and then reap the rewards. I wouldn't necessarily want to sign 3 transfer bigs, like this year, all the time, but make sense to shop for more court-ready players. Best case scenario would be sign Reibe and a veteran post from the portal to start in front of him for at least a year. -

For this season? The IU quartet for sure. I'm not a proponent of freshman big men starting. It has worked, but not usually, and I think Ballo is more what IU needs from a post this year over Queen's skills. I'd take an experienced Rice over a FR Fland too. I'm not as excited about Carlyle as most, but hopefully he proves me wrong. Since I doubt any of those 3 freshman are 1 & done, longer term looks stronger there, but what passes for college basketball now is a "live for today" system, getting, developing, keeping players is in the past.
