I love our guys but watching the Auburn guards get up and down the floor, vs Cupps and Gallo getting up the floor, is like watching gazelles vs penguins.

That’s at least two times Auburn has slammed a putback over MM. He hasn’t learned how to effectively box out yet.

We have uncharacteristically missed 4 three footers so far.

It’s crazy we have been in the tourney each of Woody’s 2 years while going 1-10 vs PSU, IA and NW !! On the flip side the record against PU, MD, UM has been great. Go figure.

3-1 vs PU ….Great 1-6 vs NW and PSU ….Yikes EDIT: also, Woody is 1-2 vs MSU

I haven’t seen them play this year. Anyone have have thoughts in regards to their backcourt vs ours? Will we be able to handle their guards defensively ?

Made me smile to hear Gunn say, after the game, that both Cheaney and Hulls were helping him work on his shot. Also smiled when I heard Malik said that, during a timeout, Cheaney took him aside and told him he had to trust his teammates (ie I assume he was telling him to pass out of the post). Malik grinned a bit when he stated that the refs didn’t call Ware’s arm hook on his decisive sky hook. Ware could have easily been called for that (and would have been called if we were playing Duke etc).

3 to’s in the second half after a very sloppy first half. Good to see.

That wasn’t just an airball by Gallo. It was a miss everything by 3-4 feet shot. Yikes!

It wasn’t lack of desire to add a guard. He went after some guys but unfortunately didn’t land them. Our two starting guards combined for zero buckets in the first half. Not optimal.

10 to’s, UM doesn’t have to worry about our guards beyond 10 feet, Ware sat quite a bit but we are only down 2 on the road at the half. Play half way decent in the second and we will get the W.

Some good play mixed in with a big dose of sloppy.

Wares length is unreal and his shot is so soft. It’s going to be something else seeing him against Hunter D.

Ware coming back in. Lead was 4 when starters sat and now the lead is 3. Not bad, even though I don’t understand why you pull 4 starters at the same time.
