If Leal happens to finish the season strong he all of the sudden might be asked to stay around for his covid year (I think he is eligible for it).

On one of his last threes I was watching MM and Sanfort transition and they came down parallel to each other about 3-4 feet apart. Yelled at the tv for MM to mark him (apparently he didn’t hear me) and sure enough Sanfort drills one. Just so basic.

To be fair he only missed the rim by 1 1/2 feet.

It’s been a huge help to have the “soft”, “only cares about the NBA”, “will not play another game”, Ware back on the court.

That’s an interesting point. With Ware and MR we actually have two bigs (bump it to 3 with MM) that have the ability to be perimeter threats, take more threes and pull out the defensive bigs while opening up the middle. An open middle would help our slashers, X and TG, use their best offensive skill which is attacking the basket. Sure would be nice to see us change it up. What do we have to lose?

Kenpom predicted 1-7. We have won 100% more games than predicted. HUGE over-achievers!!!

We have plenty to complain about but how in the world do you know Ware could have played today and what evidence do you have of him being soft? Are we at the point of just making shite up and then criticizing the players based on our made up stuff?

It’s kind of crazy that when we hired Archie the three hottest young coaches were Archie, Holtman and Mack. It’s really challenging to figure out if mid-major coaches will be big P5 winners
