Because of the way Wisconsin tossed us around, throughout the last 20+ years, I really wish they were on our schedule this season.

Almost halftime and UCLA is only down 7-3 at PSU. UCLA was tied at the half at LSU. Our win at UCLA might have been better than we think.

Yep, That picture was one of the things that led me to believe Barrell really was related and/or connected. The Mullins family obviously wanted to keep things close to the vest so it didn’t surprise me, and many of us, that the family most likely told him to STFU. When Barrell was “reporting” he stated that IU had it in the bag. However…during Barrell’s reporting timeframe Hurley didn’t seem to be so ingrained/invested and I wouldn’t be shocked (based on nothing…LOL) if he goes to UCONN, or IU for that matter. Hope we get him but who knows. -
Purdon't picked to win the Big Ten

Agreed. ”Pretty good” is without a doubt the worst possible outcome for the upcoming season. We really need a home run season or one so bad that it’s obvious, to everyone that matters $$$$, that it is time to move on. -
There goes Massey again. Underrating IU and dramatically overrating PU. It makes no sense that his system has PU ranked higher than more deserving teams like UT-San Antonio or Jax State. Just baffling.

Liam stated during his recruitment he wanted to play for a winner. I’d bet big money Liam primarily left because he saw our offense, saw us lose out on all the other “star” recruits without knowing we would be able to reload via the portal (ie he didn’t want to be stuck on a mediocre team) and he also witnessed our lack of success and not even making the tourney. That being said….Yes I realize we have to tuck them in every night, and jump through hoops and I would be critical of Woody and the staff if they didn’t do that because that’s just what you have to do these days but that doesn’t mean I can’t be a curmudgeon that is tired of it (almost all recruitments, not a specific shot at Mullins). -

Apparently I love the taste of Kool-Aid because I’m happily chugging it. IU - 45 NW - 10 -
I can’t either. in my opinion NIL caps will never work, due to legal issues and “cheaters will cheat”, but surely when guys get paid (who knows, maybe these 2 didn’t get anything) there should be some sort of agreement/contract tying them to the school for a certain time period (ie one, two or three year agreements, whatever is negotiated) requiring them to participate/be available for all regular season and bowl games. It’s crazy that college athletes have far more freedom than pros.

Damn. I really thought Logan was on the verge of getting a tackle…..:)

Yup Intellectually I get it but this is one aspect of the sport in which I turn into a curmudgeon. LOL -

So what in the world do Woody and Walsh have to tell him again (and again and again and again and again) and what else does Mullins need to hear that he hasn’t already heard a million times? Does the “bag” get bigger with every visit? I understand wanting to make an informed decision but at what point do you stop making multiple staffs jump through hoops? -
Ha One of my favorite off season memories was reading how Jeremiah Rivers, prior to the season he averaged 3.8 ppg, was absolutely tearing it up offensively.

None of us truly knows how he visualizes the last 5-7 years of his career but your above statement is the one possibility that makes me nervous. He is an extremely competitive guy, that has moved up the football “food chain”, and very well may want to coach an elite level football program. On the other hand he might be satisfied maintaining excellence at a program he built like Frank Beamer at Va Tech. Who knows ?? I don’t see him going to a place like Arkansas but FL or FL State might tempt him. That being said….for his stock to be high he still has to prove himself against NB, @MSU, UM and OSU.

I know a guy that was skeptical regarding how well the JMU guys would play in the BT. Guilty as charged. -

Rourke started out 2-5 with 2 picks. The rest of the half he went 11-14 with a TD and zero picks. -

One score game at the half. I really hope there isn’t a traffic jam of people fleeing the stadium. -

For the balance of the first half Ruorke didn’t look like a guy that threw two early picks. Does indeed seem to be an unflappable, next-play guy. -

What a great drive and statement to the whole team. Allen would have repeatedly run the ball up the middle, to kill clock, and happily gone to the locker tied 7-7 -

Wonder what the winning percentage is for teams that lose the turnover battle 0-3 ? Thankfully the D is getting it done.
