    OL Tim Gardner

I was in a small 20 person class with Tim last semester. He's a nice guy. Didn't speak much but is definitely a huge guy. He couldn't fit in any of the desks and it was always a comedic moment when the class would pause due to him needing to readjust how he was sitting and would accidentally move the whole row of people in front of him. But I hope he will be able to develop into a solid player for us. He has all the physical tools to be dominant. Just needs someone to push him and encourage him to work his hardest each and every play. Something I don't think he did last season just from the few times I watched him play. Hopefully with feeney coming back he will be able to keep our O-line strong and help develop someone like Tim into the player he can become.

    Student attendance

I am a student and always arrive about an hour early and am always at a prime location in the student section. But what is the biggest shame in my eyes is when there are student spots open behind the basket. Last game there were huge gaps behind the basket and that not only is a disadvantage late in a game but also looks bad on camera. Those areas need to be filled no matter the opponent. If they are not full at the start of the game then the athletic department should chose students from GA and move them over so it's all full. But I think this argument will be lost the rest of the way due to the quality opponents and time and day of the games. The only other game that might have an issue with attendence might be the Nebraska game at 8:30 on a Wednesday night. But other then that I think us students will be filling up the seats. At least I know I will be yelling and screaming from the top of the balcony for the Maryland and Purdue games!

    Guess what day it is?

Behind Thomas Bryant in line for food this morning, he's wearing a boot on his left foot. Hopefully just precautions?
  4. I have two classes with all the freshmen and sophomore players and I can definitely say that they have seemed deflated so far. Especially Bryant. Hasn't said a word to anyone that I've seen. He was sitting two seats away from JBJ. You would think JBJ being the older one would try to help but from what I've seen they have been keeping to themselves.
