It’s October but you have to feel good about what we saw. Beat a good Tennessee team on the road.

A complete football team. Don’t know how far back you have to go to find that at IU.

After the summer hiatus I’m trying to catch up in this thread and my brain hurts…. Must pace myself.

Not sure why anyone gets worked up about the recruitments anymore when the kid is a year out. Good chance Woodson retires and someone will throw enough money to Hurley in the NBA eventually.

Mullins was a heavy IU lean. UConn came in kinda late with an amazing sales pitch. The Mullins camp mentioned the desire to be close to home and Hurley said no problem you’ll have access to a private jet and be home in 1 hour 15 mins or what ever it was. Sealed the deal. This came from a very very close contact on the AAU side. It’s amazing what you can learn at a girls volleyball sectional.

The kid couldn’t pass up UConn right now. They have the best sales pitch going. End of story.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but I heard tonight from the AAU coach that UCONN offered a private jet to ease concerns about playing away from home.

Culture change happening before our eyes. The coaching is light years ahead of anything we’ve seen in the last 20-30 years. Not a good UCLA team by any stretch but we went on the road and easily took care of business.

Too many penalties still but I believe we are headed in the right direction.

A few years ago posters were anointing Clemson as the next Alabama. Nope, that would be Georgia.
