Ok, I’ll say it. First Woodson gets his billionaire buddies to buy him a team, and then he gets the university to buy him a schedule full of cupcakes. How low will he go?

Hopefully this is true. Remember, it's Mediocre Mike Woodson, so he can still crap the bed, even with this team of mercenaries and the cupcake schedule.

The first point tells the story. It's a total setup to help Mediocre Mike get through the season with out embarrassing losses. I guess it's good to see someone admit that in print.

Naw… there’s plenty of blame to spread around the BoT, the administration, the entire athletics department and the men’s basketball program. This thing has been mismanaged from the last several years of the RMK era.

... and squeaks past powerhouses like Army, Morehead State and Florida Gulf Coast... and don't forget losing twice to Penn State, thrice to Nebraska (blown out twice). Mike Woodson, doing his job since 2021.

Waaaahhhhhh. We still be here when Mediocre Mike is nothing more than a bad memory... and history will support the fact that Woodson was a horrible coach.

So, Woodson has his billionaire buddies buy him a team, and then builds a weak schedule... it's almost like he's afraid of something.

And more importantly, Mediocre Mike hasn't cost us any games in the last 4 months, either...

That tells you has bad the program is. The only two with higher winning percentages were a legend that was a “catch lightning in a bottle” hire (RMK) and a guy who broke a stupid inconsequential rule that cause the administration to fall on its sword (Sampson). Mediocre Mike got third place by default.

Also, Woodson didn't have a problem with the HH guys when his kids needed jobs. They were "good enough" then, until they weren't. Was Woodson giving the HH guys access to get his kids jobs a "quid pro quo" or just poor judgment on the part of Woodson? One cannot have it both ways.

With Mediocre Mike driving the bus, it's extremely possible.

Yeah, more bluster from Scotty R ...I grew up on the Southside of Indy. I'm a '77 graduate of IUB... was at IUB during the '76 championship run (and the '75 near miss). And I am looking back at my 70th lap around the sun. I know what RMK did for the basketball program, the fan base and the university. And I have seen what Mike Woodson has done to the basketball program, the fan base and the university as its head coach. And I'm witnessing what Mike Woodson is trying to do for himself - namely stake a life-time claim on the HC office. There is NO equating RMK to MMW. Period. Mediocre Mike acts like he has the gravitas of someone who has actually accomplished something. He has not done anything of consequence here or elsewhere, and has zero gravitas to act like the @$$ that he has. That is my opinion of Mediocre Mike Woodson, and I am entitled to it. And for those who want to point out that Woodson has the 3rd best record as a HC in the past 25 years, let me remind you that statement is more of a commentary on the state of the program than anything else.

I don't hate anyone. But I don't care for Woodson as Indiana's head coach. But speaking of not being able to let stuff go... I give you Mediocre Mike.

Kind of strange that both IU and Duke were listed as his "dream schools", yet neither made his final three.
