Recker was a good college player, but he’ll always be a loathsome human being in my book.

It’s pretty much anything the talking heads can do to disparage IU football. We get no respect, but we have a chance to prove ourselves vs a hapless Toiletmaker team… and 11-1 is a great record regardless of the SOS. The schedule is what it is, and IU has done very well against what we were given. Look at the margins of victory over some of these bowl-eligible teams.

And the Bama loss was hung on them by a 5-5 team whereas IU lost to a 10-1 team ranked #2 nationally.

Okay by me.

If Michigan can beat tOSU next week and we thrash the Toiletmakers next week as expected, we still make the B1G championship game vs Oregon, right?

Yep. This was stated over and over when he was hired... and 3+ years later, nothing has changed... he's still unhireable, yet, here he is, still clueless.

It's not "who" but "when/why"... Woodson's favorite method for substitution has been swapping out the majority of the on-floor team at the same time. More times than not it kills whatever momentum the team may have going for it at the time... Note: I have not yet watched the UNCG game, so my comment is based on Woodson's history vs anything specific to this specific game.

Woodson has been in love with the “hockey line change” substitution pattern since he got here. He moved away from that somewhat last year, but looks like it’s back and with the same dreary results.

Exactly. Try selling Woodson's song and dance crap to Curt Cignetti. As you have said, CCC has flipped the roster and changed the culture of the football program and is actually coaching the players and being successful... and we're only TEN GAMES into his tenure - one-tenth of the time Woodson has had...the results speak for themselves.

I haven't watched a minute of any of the games so far this year.. Don't have the '+' version of the streaming services, and have the UNCG game recorded, but haven't watched yet... so I'm not going to comment on a game that I haven't seen. I can look at the final score and the box score and draw a reasonable conclusion... with respect to Goode, all I heard during the portal recruiting season was how great a shooter he is... but so far this season's stats don't bear that out... Yeah, as a fan for almost 60 years, I do have an agenda: Get IU to hire a basketball coach that has a freaking clue how to coach. Renting a group of mercenaries is not a plan. It's an effort by Woodson's billionaire buddies to try to hide his abysmal coaching ability.

Don't need "my boys" to have my back. Woodson is a hack of a coach and needs to go. Tell me where you're confused.

No one is doubting the level of talent of the players... but Woodson is wasting that talent, even mitigating its effectiveness with his inept coaching. He has no clue. He had no clue when he got here, and hasn't learned a blasted thing since he got here. IU fans have experienced this crap for 3+ years... and nothing changes....

I'd rather have a coach who knew what the #*(@^$ he was supposed to be doing. Being undefeated against cupcake schedule Woodson has assembled is not much of an accomplishment.

We saw it with Archie... with Davis and with others... the team plays up/down to the level of the competition. If Cig's boys played that way, they might have beaten Western Illinois 14-3. This is typical of a poorly coached team, and Indiana has that in spades.

Maybe Scott Dolson buys him a one-way ticket.

And when the Hoosiers thump the Suckeyes, this injury will be the headline and the excuse to continue dogging us.
