Three years from now when GG and MSB walk out of Rupp Arena after lighting the roof on fire we'll all regret doubting him. Really though, he's not going to be a low ranked kid who turns into a stud like Paul George or Oladipo. He probably won't even be a Collin Hartman type. Worst case scenario he's a kid who sits the bench for four years who we don't have to worry about going out and getting in trouble with the law or causing distractions in the locker room. Not who you want to start a class off with, but nothing we can do about that now. Also, get that boy on an all protein diet asap. He's skinny as a rail.

I've never heard of him before but I like hearing the words "immediately accepted." It's a welcome change from the "stay tuned, dropping my top 25 list later this week" we see from a lot of the top recruits. We've got a big class to fill this year so realistically they're not all going to be top recruits. It sounds like an Indiana kid's dream came true today, let's hope he can rise to the occasion.

IU's too liberal for my liking, but you'll find that at most big universities these days. Luckily most of the professors I've had here so far do a good job of leaving their political ideologies at the classroom door instead of being the stereotypical liberal college professor "indoctrinating" their students. Gotta be careful when you're speaking in class though, some of the more extreme far left students are dying to pounce on a conservative kid.

I could get behind Rubio. His comment about Hillary Clinton not being able to lecture him in a debate about living paycheck to paycheck because he lived it could be important. It's hard to seem genuine when she condemns the rich while being worth $140 million. The nominee needs to be someone who can actually get people excited to go out and vote. I see a lot of people staying home come election day if Jeb Bush is the Republican candidate.

That makes a lot of sense, I didn't really think about that perspective. 50 or 100 years ago you might read an article in the paper about an event that today we would have pictures, footage, etc. for available at the click of a button. I get on Twitter and see an ISIS video, for example, and think "wow, what's the world come to?" I don't really stop to realize that bad things have always happened, we just can actually see them take place now. Interesting, thanks for that.

This could be one of the most important elections in our country's history. I'm only 21 so please feel free to tell me that idk what I'm talking about, but the world's a scary place right now and it's only going to get worse. We need a President who can get America back on track. Picturing a world eight years from now that continues the path we're currently on is pretty terrifying. If that person is a Republican, great. If they're a Democrat, great. We just desperately need a leader to unite us.

My jaw dropped when I heard it. It's like it was a question to paint the candidates as crazy Bible thumpers. Cruz handled it very well, IMO.

Me too. Part of me thinks he's just doing it for attention, but if so, I don't know why he'd make the immigration comments that hurt his businesses if he's not serious. I really want to see a Hillary Clinton vs. Donald Trump debate because that'd make for some great television.

Trump won't let people shame him for being filthy rich. That's where Mitt Romney slipped up in 2012. Hate him or love him, I'd say 75% of the comments on this thread are about Donald Trump and I'd guess that other media outlets are pretty similar. It's really incredible how polarizing he is.

I like the substance in Ted Cruz's statements, same with Ben Carson. Nothing against Jeb Bush, but nothing about him gets me excited at the possibility of him getting the nomination.

They're going after Trump hard early on. He's the only candidate the media has no control over and that terrifies them, in my opinion. I still can't tell if he's serious about all this yet, but I love his no BS attitude.

That letter reminds me of all the generic "interest" letters coaches send out by the thousand. Hopefully this is just a follow up/formality email and the real thing includes the kid's name at the very least. Recruits like to feel special and the letter above wouldn't get the job done.

Just checked out my bursar bill and saw my bball tickets on there, I was kinda paranoid that I forgot to add them when I signed up for classes. The snapchat videos get me way too excited for this season.

I would still put Hulls and Sheehey over Noah Vonleh. In terms of talent absolutely not, but Vonleh didn't do much of anything while he was here.

Even if we really wanted him I doubt the feeling would be mutual. He wouldn't get the minutes here that he needs to be a one and done.

Some of the captions are pretty stupid, but what really irritates me is when they get in the way of the video. I don't care if Yogi has a flamethrower, I just want to watch what's happening.

Burton's going to be at the end of the bench either way. Why let it go to waste when a good kid could get a year of free college? Reward him for his hard work if an impact player can't be brought in with it.
