Oh man the Donald went right in on Rand Paul. Nothing good comes from going after Trump it seems.

I'd like to see the top 5-6 candidates in a format similar to the one going on right now. This is what a debate should be like.

Jeb Bush's campaign is in free fall so I could see CNN giving him lots of speaking time in hopes of reviving it. I'd like to see guys like Cruz, Carson and Paul get more time. An equal opportunity to speak when we're dealing with picking potentially the next president is important imo. I hope Carson brings more energy because his tone last debate sounded like my mom's when she would read me bedtime stories.

Do they really not like each other? He just let Trump use his arena for one of his speeches. Cuban is one democrat candidate I would actually consider voting for.

I've hopped on that bandwagon already. I got my "Make America Great Again" hat ordered last night, but I think I'm more excited to see the reactions I get from it than to actually wear it. Cruz would probably be the better president but he doesn't have the charisma needed to win it.

Well we're less than 48 hours away from the second GOP debate. Get you popcorn ready ladies, it's going to be one heck of a show. I'm expecting all of the candidates (besides Cruz) to take shots at Donald Trump and for him to brush them off like flies. I only wish the 8:00 debate didn't have so many candidates in it, I guess CNN didn't learn anything from Fox. Full steam ahead! [attachment=2597:image.jpg]

I hope he does well this year, he's a really nice kid. I was pleasantly surprised to see the student section full from bottom to top at kickoff last night. It cleared out quite a bit after halftime like usual, but at least I had a better seat for the second half.

I can't see Crean making the guys write letters to former players.  This sounds like something he wanted to do on his own.  I'll take 12 players with Max's attitude, please. 

To whom much is given, much is expected. Nothing was stopping Emmitt from staying at IU, paying out of state tuition and drinking as much alcohol as his heart desired. If he wanted to do regular college kid things he could've decided to be a regular college student.

Scales must have really screwed up to get a longer suspension than Green.

Moral of the story, watch out for your own butt and never take the fall for someone else. Especially when you're D1 basketball player.

Either don't apologize because you don't think you did anything wrong, or issue a standard apology and put the situation behind you. Trying to do both at the same time doesn't work.

I'm not sure how to feel about that first sentence. It's assumed that most college kids drink, but IMO I think pointing it out and implying that he was just doing what everyone else is doing is a bad look.

I love it when guys stay true to themselves after they blow up. With all the negative things you hear about professional athletes these days it's nice seeing things like this.

Thomas Bryant. We have a pretty good idea of what we'll get from most of the other key guys. If Thomas can be a big step up from our interior presences last year our team should be in really good shape.

I have to wonder this as well. I've had coaches and teachers in the past who I didn't respect, but I didn't do anything to rebel against their authority. I still had my parents to face and that'd be 100x worse than anything a coach or teacher could do. Take that aspect away and you might see some situations like the ones we've see from our team.

His latest highlight tape reminds me of Julius Randle and i think it's almost entirely because he dunks with his left hand so much.

All those deflections came in handy, he knew exactly how to deflect the blame onto the other guys.
