With the leaked MOU or whatever it's called I could totally see P4 schools doing that. ND needs other schools who are willing to schedule them, and in return ND could theoretically bump those same schools from the CFP if they finish in the top 12 due to what appears to be preferential treatment.

We should all be rooting for Oklahoma now with the all but confirmed Daley news. Their offense is flat out not very good. I would much rather our D face Mateer and their pedestrian offense than Alabama's. Plus Deboer is a much more talented offensive coach than Venables.

Holding out hope he could return for the championship game if we proceed that far. Not getting my hopes up though.

I would like to see ND in the B1G. It makes a lot of sense for them, plus I'd like a chance to see IU in football and basketball up here in Domer land.

Really hoping for Oklahoma. We could legit shut them out. Bama does not scare me either, but when they're on they are tough for sure. Tons of 5 star talent on that team. It killed me not being able to come here to revel in the magic of that TD catch to seal it. And to think I almost turned my TV off out of frustration a few minutes before, thinking all hope was lost. What an ending. I have probably watched 20 different versions of Cooper's TD catch on X by now.

Had this same thought when Fitzgerald news crawled across ESPN. If I'm Arkansas I definitely give him an interview even if it seems like a weird fit. Some of the higher jobs probably all think they can do better, but a low to middling program in a power conference shouldn't think twice.

FWIW the PSU fans on Rivals are expecting to get blown out, and are just waiting for the season to be over. It will pale in comparison to the environment we encountered at Iowa and Oregon IMO.

Except that you do watch Disney. A lot.
