Daaaaang and I forgot RJ had surgery after the season too on that ankle. Pretty much held him out for the majority of the offseason. Cuss words. Let's hope it's not as serious.

Robert Johnson had the same injury suffered against Purdue on February 20, and he returned March 17 against Chattanooga playing 24 minutes. That's almost a whole month. He eventually re-injured that ankle if I'm remembering correctly, so he may have been brought back too soon. I know all injuries are not the same, but I'd feel better about him not re-injuring that ankle if he's held out until maybe the Louisville game.

Crean said on the post-game show that we won't know tonight. They'll evaluate tomorrow. Here's hoping for a timetable of "day-to-day".

This game, along with Kansas, is going to pay major dividends for our RPI this year.

Me too, but a win tonight could get me right back to where I was before. We NEED to beat UNC, Butler, and Louisville to make up for that loss. I may be getting greedy, but we gotta win this to be taken seriously again.

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but does this mean we essentially turn it over on 1 out of every 4 possessions? I'm just unclear if kenpom uses anything else to come up with the turnover rate. If so, that's hideous. Imagine how many more shots or free throws we could make if we brought that number down just a little.

If this year ends with a deep tournament run (Elite 8 or better) and doing well in the B1G, I can live with that. As long as our "down year" still results in getting invited to the tournament and being competitive in the B1G , I'm ok with a down year once in a while. Making the tournament has to be the standard though. As long as we make good tournament runs past the Sweet 16, and are winning conference championships, I can stomach a year where we get a 7-8 seed in the NCAA tournament and a 6th place finish in the B1G.

I'd be really happy if somehow he ended up back at IU if OG leaves after this year.

High 4 star. Guys like him should be our primary focus.
