(2018) PG Robert Phinisee to Cincinnati

Holy sh*t, are next year's college freshman really born in 1999? I feel so old now.
  2. I'm not discouraged at all by that. He still feels IU could be the pick, as his selection remains IU on his crystal ball. All he really said was the sources are quiet now. That could mean anything.
  3. Will make a point to catch some Riley games this year when I go home to visit the parents in South Bend. So excited he's a Hoosier.
  4. I just seriously doubt there's any pressure, outside of a few, to go to Vandy. Even in Nashville it's tough to find a Vanderbilt fan.
  5. Rivals, I'm not on peegs
  6. Well there's an insider on tos that is incredibly excited right now. Hopefully that's a good sign.
  7. Honestly he's probably just messing with people knowing lots of fans would read too much into it. Looking for his 15 seconds of fame I guess.
  8. Well is there an Instagram picture of Bryce Drew that Darius also liked on Instagram? Could put this to bed pretty quickly.
  9. Speaking of Al Durham, do you know anything about his progression? Is he looking very good? I'm hoping Brooks pays us a few more visits for games this season before he makes a decision. I'm sure TJD will, and I'd love for the both of them to be the cornerstone of our frontcourt for the future.
  10. Remember too that in the days leading up to his decision, Robert Johnson's crystal ball was an all-UNC avalanche.

    Corruption in College Basketball

Please hold my beer, I keep spilling it from laughing so hard. Seriously, if there is even the remote chance this kid gets cleared to play, the NCAA should just disband. Louisville should have kicked him out of school.
  12. Fun fact: Nashville, TN is only 4 hours away from Bloomington. The same time it takes to get from South Bend to Bloomington.
  13. lol so the three guys who switched their pick to Vandy are Andrew Slater, Brian Flinn, and Eric Hampford. Andrew Slater: 495/653 - 75% Brian Flinn: 182/304 - 59% Eric Hampford: 50/92 - 54% I'm not getting worked up yet. That said if Jerry Meyer changes his pick from IU then I'll start to get worried.
  14. So are these crystal ball guys switching their picks to Vandy from IU? Or were they on other schools and just picked Vandy?
  15. I gotta say, I still feel confident. Drew has been in to see Darius twice lately, meanwhile Archie is biding his time, almost like he has no reason to worry. Like he knows what's going on. Let Drew use up all his visits, and then swoop in and pay Darius a visit.
  16. What? That's not the case at all. People need to stop being so dramatic
  17. I'm still incredibly optimistic. A trusted insider on our Rivals site posted this morning that Hoosier nation is going to be happy regarding Darius/Romeo.
  18. I doubt Evan Daniels would be there to cover an announcement of a commitment date or something like that. Maybe just to get a pre-commitment interview? That would make sense even if the commitment is over a week away.
  19. So if we get to this weekend and IU pays him a visit, would you necessarily take that as possibly a bad sign for us? If I'm reading correctly it sounds like he's basically ours to lose right now.
  20. Trying not to get my hopes up this week but it's really tough. Hoping for some good news!
  21. Bossi says KU leads for Grimes, but also a possibility they miss out on Garland, Grimes, and Zion.
  22. IDK, Ohio State would give him a lot of early minutes.
  23. I love the idea of redshirting Phinisee if we get Garland, especially because it's something so foreign to us the past few 8 years. That would be about the best-case scenario especially if Green continues to show promise. You'd have to think we'd be plenty deep at the PG spot with a junior Green and freshman Garland if we get the latter.
