Yep I used to have this same thing, except it was on my Samsung phone. So I pretty much just stopped using the mobile version unfortunately.

(2018) G/F Damezi Anderson to Detroit Mercy
AKHoosier replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
FWIW hearing that Damezi didn't practice all week. He's been sick. That would explain the slump in production. -
Player and Recruit Retention News/Discussion & Potential Transfers

Wow, very intriguing. Wouldn't mind adding that kind of size and shooting ability to next year's team. -
(2018) G/F Damezi Anderson to Detroit Mercy
AKHoosier replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Just 6 points today, would have liked to see him come up bigger today. He'll be a good player for us in a few years, but he won't be ready next year. He's billed as being a shooter but he doesn't seem to take great shots all the time. I really hope we get Romeo + a grad transfer Sanford from Toledo or Taylor from Evansville. -
(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
AKHoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
That's a rough way for Romeo's career to end. Ugh hopefully Riley wins now, I really don't want 2 Indy teams to square off in the state final. -
So glad the upset finally happened, and it felt awesome to watch it, but.... I just wish it could have happened to a different team like Duke, UNC, UK, etc. UVA seems like they have good kids, 4 year players unlike those aforementioned schools. We were watching it at my house and just felt bad for Virginia.

Wow, Zona down 13 now. If they lose this, I wouldn't be surprised to see Sean Miller bolt for Pitt.

Well if Texas Tech loses my bracket is completely trashed. Davidson, Miami, South Dakota State all going down have hurt me.

Tom Crean to be next Georgia coach / 6 year 3.2 Million annually
AKHoosier replied to iubb's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Very happy for him, and I hope he does well. It'll be interesting to see how he goes about recruiting down there, as the ATL can get a bit murky from what I've read. I'll be rooting for him. -
What if Crean lands at Pitt? I'd be willing to bet who our ACC/B1G Challenge would be at some point over the next 2 years.

(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
AKHoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I think he's just waiting to have a clearer picture of what rosters will look like next year. I'm starting to think it's more IU/Kansas than Vandy personally. -
So now the season is officially over. I wonder when the offseason news starts for us now. In the past, the day after Selection Sunday would often be the day when a transfer or two were announced.

I just don't see how Purdue can be the highest seeded B1G team. They didn't win the league, nor did they win the BTT, lost to Michigan State and Ohio State. It pisses me off that the year we won the B1G, we got a 5 seed. But Purdue gets a 2?

This format is so terrible. If anyone is capable of taking the fun out of Selection Sunday, it's the NCAA.

(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
AKHoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Yeah count me in as someone who appreciates any rumors, whether good or bad. I think we all know by now to take every rumor and tea leaf with a grain of salt, as it'd be ridiculous to take everything on a message board as gospel. It's way better than the worthless back and forth that has gone on for about 50% of this thread. -
Good for him, I hope he does. He'd be a good fit at Georgia.

So Tubby Smith is really throwing a wrench into Memphis' dream to fire him and get Penny Hardaway. They just keep winning haha. If they beat UC today in the semifinal, they'd be 22-12 with a good chance of getting an at-large bid, and of course would play tomorrow for the auto-bid. Surely they won't fire him after making a run to get to the tournament right?

(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky

Keion Brooks has some of the skinniest legs I've ever seen. Like Maurice Creek honestly. -
(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

Just thinking out loud, but Romeo picking IU would definitely be great PR for IU in southern Indiana. It would make IU a cool school to go to, which is good for our exposure in that area of the state. Too many people down there are UK/UL fans, sometimes because IU just gives them nothing to cheer for lately. Getting Romeo would go a long way in changing that. I just get so damn sick of seeing that "Southern Indiana is Louisville Country" billboard down there. -

AKHoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Ugh this recruitment needs to quit toying with me. Just imagining our roster with additions of Romeo, Sanford (possibly), and a grad transfer big is already getting me excited for next year. -
Whoa when did he say that? I must have missed that.

(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
AKHoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
So does the IU players going to Romeo's game last night pretty much put to bed that rumor about Archie informing his coaching staff that Langford is going to Kansas? I think it pretty much does. I can't see Archie telling his coaches that we're not getting Romeo, then turning around and telling 3 current players to take time out of their Saturday night and go watch his tournament game. Just my 2 cents. In this case, actions speak louder than message board rumors. -

AKHoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
That's such a smart play by Archie to send players to watch Romeo's game, because he still has his 2 visits to use. Plus Romeo can still visit IU this month. It's one thing for the coach to show he wants you, it sends a completely different, yet just as effective, message for the players you would be playing with to show up and show they want you on the team too. -

Eh that sounds like something a school like Vanderbilt would do. No offense to East, but he doesn't have any high Division 1 offers and he's a senior playing on a great team. I'm sure he'd be just as good as our preferred walk-ons, so maybe offer him one of those. -
I feel like Ole Miss would be lucky to get him, but I'm surprised Matta is still open to coaching. I've always thought his health was a big factor in OSU's recent slide.
