The law will require high school girls to prove their gender to participate in high school sports through a genital exam, DNA test, or testosterone levels test. The horror at having to prove you're a girl in order to compete against girls in high school sports. Yet, here we are.

During all my time at IU, as a student or alumni visiting friends or for sporting events, I honestly can't recall a single incident of racism. The only one I can actually recall (I wasn't there for it) is when we played Maryland for the B1G/ACC Challenge and that Hispanic player (I can't remember his name) torched us, and some fans chanted "*******". That was bad. Honestly though, I don't even know what people are debating anymore. So I should probably just steer clear. Even the people who are saying "all lives matter" agree that racism is bad and minorities matter just as much as non-minorities. Literally everyone agrees with that. I honestly don't get why there's so much division. All the last 10 days have been is strawman arguments and people tripping over themselves to look like they're the good guy in all this.

I'd be done so fast if this happened.

Kansas better get HAMMERED. No less than 2 years banned from post-season play will be acceptable. Also loss of scholarships and recruiting visits. Edit: I want even more harsh punishment for L$U. Will Wade shouldn't be allowed to coach anywhere in the NCAA for the next 4 years.

Hopefully we reach out, but I'd bet $ on Figueroa ending up at Louisville/UK/Villanova. From Massachusetts originally, maybe we have some type of connection I'm unaware of.

Hopefully we can snag a grad transfer who's capable of providing serviceable defense in the front court for at least 10 mpg. If we don't, we may see TJD, Race, and Brunk get really tired by the end of the B1G season. I worry about Hunter guarding 4s unless they're undersized as well.

I can't imagine being a college coach nowadays. Average 4 star guys are the man in high school, and convince themselves that because they have a recruiting profile and their name is online, they'll be a pro. When that doesn't pan out, it must be someone else's fault. Nojel Eastern probably won't even be a pro in something other than sports.

For everyone thinking Duke and Coach K will be unharmed by all this, aren't there new rules that forbid coaches from claiming ignorance? I thought that was the reason Pitino was going to be hammered by the NCAA since he's the leader of the program, and anything that goes on within the confines of the team, you are ultimately responsible for. So even if coach K knew nothing about Zion's housing and cash gifts from agents or shoe companies, Duke can still be hammered since it took place at his program.

Out of all of them, I have the most desire to see LSU burn. Even more so than Kentucky, Kansas, Louisville, etc. Will Wade has no remorse, and the only thing he regrets is getting caught.

We've beaten them 2 out of the last 3 times we've played them. No chance they want to keep giving us chances to increase that while they continue to try and recruit Indiana.

Yeah I respect healthy critique and discussion, but I just don't understand that comparison he's trying to make. Screams of wanting attention imo. I get being critical and skeptical of recruiting rankings, I do. We've been burned by them before, i.e. look at the high ranking of Perea and low ranking of OG or Victor Oladipo.

Good old Sam Story over on TOS is comparing Aminu Mohammed to Armaan Franklin. I mean, I've never seen him play live so my impression of him is built off of scout reports and rankings, but if he's right then we should probably avoid signing him. I do like Franklin, and think he will be a very valuable guard going forward for the team. FWIW I don't think Armaan Franklin would be putting up video game like numbers, even in lower class Missouri high school basketball. Plus Mohammed has had some pretty damn good games against elite competition too.

First comment isn't wrong. I love college basketball, but CFB as a product is way better. Yeah there are plenty of football players who transfer, but the impact is smaller since there are like 85 players on a roster. No guys going pro after 1 year who clearly aren't ready.

Exactly, he might realize a degree from IU is better than a degree from Toledo (or wherever) and want to stick it out. I hope he does, and becomes a solid contributor for us his last 2 seasons. As long as he's not a cancer in the locker room, which I've never heard to be the case, I hope he stays and improves.

I see him listed as 6'7" and 6'9", just short of 200 lbs. My hope is that he could be a power forward, however I don't see how he would be an option if we land Kaufman first.

If that's the case, I don't like those odds. We rarely come out ahead against pay schools like Louisville, Memphis, LSU, etc.

Mason Miller is definitely a guy to keep an eye on. If we miss out on Trey Patterson, which we probably will, he'd be a great prospect to focus our efforts on. I'm hoping Kaufman and Miller could pair well together, with Kaufman being more of the perimeter player.
