Game Thread: Indiana vs. Arizona (12/10) 7:30 p.m. EST on Fox

I've just never been convinced he's that type of player. I love the kid, really good player but he's always been missing an edge to him. He has a nice guy feel to his game. -

1. These refs should never be allowed to call another game 2. We are just not one of the big dogs yet -

That series completely changed the game. Take away Galloway's 2, then give AZ 4 points on the other end. Freaking unreal. -

Ok, which referee's wife did Woodson bang? -

Mike Woodson cannot coach an offense to save his life. The players look completely clueless out there. -
Well whoever Purdue ends up with, he'll probably be better than our guy.

IUBB @ Rutgers - Saturday, 12/3/22 @ 4:00 on BTN

Pikiell owns us. Dude can coach well, he would do some damage at a higher profile job. -
Oscar Tshiebwe earning that $2M he garnered to come back. Dude is a monster, but UK has issues. Eventually this NIL money will have to dry up when donors, even super-wealthy billionaires, get tired of flushing money down the toilet and receive no return on their spend.

That is not true at all. There is still a verification process for people who want to be verified.

Hard pass on NY. We've played there a bunch. If they do neutral sites, I'd prefer somewhere different like Toronto, Miami, or even LA.

I've heard some weird things about Nate Oats' personal life recently that you won't read about in the papers anytime soon. None of it is verified but if true, he probably won't be getting a top job anytime soon.

Honestly I wouldn't want Purdue to be part of this. We'll never root for them, and they'll never root for us. It would also benefit their recruiting to be part of an event like this which I don't like. Swap Purdue for Michigan maybe and I'd be cool with it.

Could be another Thon Maker on our hands. Boy was that quite the episode. -
Exactly. Unfortunately there really isn't much in it for the fans. Oh, we get to see the games on Amazon? How innovative! Freakin yawn.

Hoosier Hysteria - Oct. 7 2022
AKHoosier replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
When you remove the bots and spam accounts that total probably comes closer to 4.5 million, which is still pretty impressive. I've never heard of the guy, but if it helps us get top recruits to HH then I'm all for it. -
(2023) - PF Arrinten Page to USC

The portal is just false hope as far as I'm concerned. Teams rarely get who they need, and this isn't limited to IU. Too often we expect to go to the transfer portal to fill in the gaps and expect a Max Bielfeldt level of production, but that is the rare exception. We've struck out far more often than hit home runs. -

Well if he doesn't go to IU, I hope he doesn't go to USC because I don't want to have him in the conference. That just doesn't seem real. -
Brett McMurphy reporting Oregon in preliminary talks with the B1G this week. No surprise. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/report-another-pac-12-school-eyeing-move-to-big-ten/ar-AA113NZ3

It's on the Indiana Rivals site so I can't link. I can try to find a Tweet though. -

Apparently we've already reached out. I wonder if this will go anywhere. -
Reviews of his play this past weekend make him sound really good. He seems like the type of big the staff covets. Might be an early 2024 favorite of mine.

I honestly hadn't even realized desalination was a proven technology and realistic option until recently. Israel appears to set a great standard for implementing it to an arid region. How California can waste billions and bungle an attempt to build a high-speed rail between LA and SF but not consider desalination blows my mind.

When we were there I told my wife if we could both double our salary I'd live in San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara in a heartbeat. I did like Fresno too, not to mention Yosemite and the other national parks in the area.
