I wouldn't say that. Everyone gets a second chance, especially when he/she has a valuable skill that's in high demand. It'll definitely be a while before his comes, and when it does it will probably be New Mexico or some lower tier program. But yeah. Rough.

I've just never been convinced he's that type of player. I love the kid, really good player but he's always been missing an edge to him. He has a nice guy feel to his game.

I've heard some weird things about Nate Oats' personal life recently that you won't read about in the papers anytime soon. None of it is verified but if true, he probably won't be getting a top job anytime soon.

Honestly I wouldn't want Purdue to be part of this. We'll never root for them, and they'll never root for us. It would also benefit their recruiting to be part of an event like this which I don't like. Swap Purdue for Michigan maybe and I'd be cool with it.

When you remove the bots and spam accounts that total probably comes closer to 4.5 million, which is still pretty impressive. I've never heard of the guy, but if it helps us get top recruits to HH then I'm all for it.

The portal is just false hope as far as I'm concerned. Teams rarely get who they need, and this isn't limited to IU. Too often we expect to go to the transfer portal to fill in the gaps and expect a Max Bielfeldt level of production, but that is the rare exception. We've struck out far more often than hit home runs.

Well if he doesn't go to IU, I hope he doesn't go to USC because I don't want to have him in the conference. That just doesn't seem real.
