Yeah I'm not threatened by him at ND at all. ND recruits nationally, as does IU. There's plenty of talent in-state to go around and IU will always be seen as the best program in the state imo.

I had no idea Shrewsberry started his head coaching career at IUSB in 2005. It was the last job before he joined Butler's staff.

Wow. Lots of intriguing prospects in the portal. I hope the staff can close on a few of them. I know who my wish list is, but it never plans out that way so why bother haha.

Could be a good thing too if you consider another potential coach down the road for IU whenever Woodson is done here. Kenya Hunter going to Buffalo and leading them to a few tournament appearances could make him an intriguing option ~5 years from now.

I think Shrewsberry would be a great fit for ND, I hope he goes there so then I can catch some games in person. A new crop of candidates are starting to emerge for when we may have a vacancy within 5 years or so. Dusty May, Shrewsberry, Michael Lewis to name a few. My guess is May won't be at FAU long now. 5 years should ne plenty of time to prove yourself.

Kowacie Reeves was the #31 overall player in the 2021 class according to Rivals. Potential certainly seems there.

Dude seriously. I need a few days detox from all the commercials consumed the past 4 days. In theory, YTTV and their new split screen feature sounds amazing, but the reality is you're always guaranteed to be watching commercials on at least 2 channels at once when you have it on screen.

We're trying to claw our way back to a level that Crean had us at. I'm not at all saying we should have kept him, but it's frustrating that it's true this should count as a successful season given our recent history.

I agree. I still think despite his recent success, that 2009-2010 team was his best team at Purdue. Unfortunately when Hummel tore his ACL all that came crashing down. They could have won it all IMO.

Bo Ryan was one of those coaches who couldn't win in March either, until he did. 2 Final 4s and a National Championship appearance made all that talk go away real quick. All it takes is 1 year to break through.
