Our primary need after last season was shooting, primarily from the outside. He wouldn't have fixed that. He had roughly 22% 3P% at Kentucky. I'm not sure whose minutes he would have taken here.

Seems that Gard may not be popular among players. I remember the story that came out a year or 2 ago where this was an issue. Maybe it went away because winning cures everything, well now they stopped winning.

I hope we don't draw Kent State in our 1st round matchup. We're clearly better, although they have a solid team that's only lost once since February 3. Sincere Caray is a dude who can play and won't be afraid of anyone.

I hate this game already. Penn State is the kind of team that you can be up by 7 against and all of a sudden they go on a 10-0 run due to their 3 pt shooting. We could get blown out if we aren't careful.

Impressive company for sure, but I so badly want TJD to be remembered as fondly as those guys, and he can do that by a deep tournament run.

Only way he comes back is if we're one and done in the tournament, and he plays awful. I think he's gone though, and I kind of want him to go. To recruit at an elite level, we need a 1 and done at least every few years to keep talent coming here. 5 star guys pay attention to that. We need guys in the league that wore an IU jersey at one time.

I would love to see a neutral court matchup between IU/PU. Has that ever happened? Closest thing I can remember is the Crossroads Classic when hoards of both team's fans were in the building rooting against the other team, but obviously we never played each other. That atmosphere would be electric.

Michigan doesn't seem like they have a resume of a tournament team, but if they cracked through would make it to the Sweet 16. It feels like a team like that comes along every once in a while.
