Anyone else notice that red hoodie Xavier Johnson was wearing when they panned to him? Man I want that hoodie. Probably not even available to fans though.

I'm really rooting for him at ND. Being up here in the South Bend area makes me root for them to be good so I have a way to catch some good games in person. Mostly though, I'm hoping he kills it at ND so we have a solid selection of coaches to choose from when Woody hangs it up.

Huge hangover after the Kansas game, so I'm just happy we avoided a loss. I've accepted the fact this will be closer to a floor year than a ceiling year for IUBB, and that's ok. We all want Final 4 appearances, but there's no shame in establishing the floor of this program still resulting in a tournament appearance and finishing in the top half of the B1G.

Freakin' sucks. The whole "not built for the tournament" phrase I always hear regarding Purdue isn't holding weight this year. Not when they're beating half of the top 10. This will be their year IMO. Having an injury-proof immovable object at center is basically a cheat code for every other deficiency.

Yes, it's entirely possible. Who you beat is more important than quantity now. We could win 12 more B1G games but if none of those come against Purdue or Illinois then that might not be enough.

I hear you but this is getting old. Three 5 stars in our starting lineup, and zero marquee nonconference wins. A team with this much star power should not have to sweat it out on Selection Sunday. We're likely gonna have to spend March rooting against a lot of bubble teams. Ugh what a deflating loss today was.

I love that Louisville is at the bottom of the barrel. Their fans gave us so much crap during the down Crean years. I can't stand all those fans from southern Indiana who root for UL instead of IU.

I have loved Woodson's scheduling philosophy by putting these games on the schedule. However, gotta be competitive in the games. This does more harm than good for our perception when we get blasted in marquee games against Arizona, Auburn, UConn, etc.

Has Woodson ever beaten Iowa? Feels like they've definitely had our number lately.

How does Queen compare to Thomas Bryant? Haven't seen a ton of film, but the few highlights I've watched brought that comparison to mind somewhat.

I will never complain about a road win, however they come. Except I didn't get to see it since I don't have Peacock. Very happy to have been proven wrong, I predicted we'd get blown out in our first conference road game against a team that can get hot from 3, especially considering X is out.

Purdue is the B1G's best chance at a 1 seed, so they'll get plenty of calls in their favor all season long. I'd be willing to bet they always have more FTA than the other team. Glad they're 0-1. They escaped so many conference road games last year, like MSU and OSU, it was frustrating.

He's built like a truck, he won't get injured. I want to see them fail at full strength.

Say what you will about our start, but lots of B1G teams would trade places with us right now. 6-1 with our only loss to a top 5 team.

Yeah Adidas is probably the reason I don't ask for much IU gear for Christmas. I honestly like a lot of Adidas gear, but for some reason their IU apparel is just not good.

Man, I want a respectable program so badly. Last time I went to a game, me and the wife had a great weekend in Bloomington and watched Penix and Co. shred Rutgers on Homecoming 2019. Being 4 hours away makes it tough, but we need a reason to get back to Btown in the fall.
