Definitely. The 2022-2023 season is still fresh in my mind though. They were expected to take a big step back after getting upset by St Peter's, and losing Ivey and Williams. They opened the next season unranked, but then catapulted to the top 5 after winning the Thanksgiving tournament in Oregon and haven't looked back since.

ESPN has Purdue #6 in their way too early Top 25 for next year. With this starting lineup: Smith, Loyer, Heide, Kaufman, and Furst. I've learned not to underestimate Purdue lately because they always seem to exceed expectations, but I see a team that is in and out of the top 25 all season long.

We are definitely intending to add a big man that commands starter level minutes. I agree Williams is probably my #1, but I still foresee the same problems as last year. And I don't think any of them will match Ware's production.

Super jealous of UK right now. Reading through their posts gets me oddly excited for them, mostly because they throw around the same names we do. I think they get either Billy Donovan or Oats. No way they end up settling on a reach. Who really knows though. We'll probably find out very soon.
