  I'm looking forward to them rolling MSU on Tuesday in Indianapolis.  Maybe it'll be good for IU recruiting to see them get blasted in our state, as Izzo is fond of recruiting Indiana kids.

  I think everyone is operating under the belief that his long term health is the most important thing.  The post you quoted didn't seem too selfish at all.

Missouri going down last night certainly has to make them less attractive, especially if they follow it up with a loss at home to a much better Valparaiso team on Sunday.   Interesting side note on Missouri: JaKeenan Gant, who was seriously considering IU for a while in the offseason, was held out of Missouri's game last night due to concerns about his eligibility.

I just don't know if it's a good idea to put him in a game this year, even if he recovers in time and is medically cleared to play.   I'm just thinking "worst case scenario" if he were to play this year.  Now, obviously his health and life are way more important than anything related to basketball, but imagine if he does in fact heal quickly, and finds his way into a game in late February.  What if he took an inadvertent elbow to the head, causing some type of longer term injury, or worse?   Can you imagine the PR hit that Fred Glass, Tom Crean, and Indiana University would take for putting him into a game, just a few months removed from a hairline fracture to his skull?    For all parties involved, but mostly for Devin's long term health and ability to live a normal life, it just makes sense to give him a year to get better, back in shape, and fully healthy.

I really don't think the turnovers are going to improve much as long as Crean is here.   It's just a matter of making more shots fall to make up for lost possessions.

  Brad Brownell has been at Clemson for 4 years.  He's made the tournament once, in the 2010-2011 season.  Since then, he's gone 52-46.   You don't fire Tom Crean to hire Brad Brownell.  You just don't.

You've gotta be kidding me with Brad Brownell.  If you don't like Crean's resume, why on earth would you like Brownell's?

Part of me worries the turnover situation will get worse when Troy and Stan return.   I really hope they improved that part of their game over the summer.

Good.   I've been convinced pretty much the moment some players stepped on campus they cared more about Twitter followers and retweets than they did about improving their game.   Some players have come here with the intention of putting in work to get better.  Others have come here to put a million pictures of themselves on their social media account so people can tell them how much they're looking forward to them playing.

Somewhat concerning is 4 turnovers from Hanner.   Hopefully just first game jitters.

We needed something positive.   Lots of positive things in the game to take focus off of the off the court stuff this week.

  Not true at all.  I remember Matt Roth saying he had to pry Tijan's hands off of the rails to get him to do laps with the rest of the team.  That's why I never really cared for the ongoing Tijan gimmick.
