Picking up a road win without Hanner is huge.    This should give the team some real confidence going forward.

Well my sister had a class with Jared Jeffries back in the day, and he showed up like twice all semester.  So there's that.

When the season concludes, we'll be a prime destination for a big man transfer.  If everyone important on this team returns, we're just another big man away from a national championship contending season next year.   There will be a whole new crop of graduate transfers this offseason, and it'll be painfully obvious there will be plenty of playing time for a 6'11" guy who can rebound and defend. 

So Nebraska is on a 20-4 run right now.   My goodness.

Petteway's going to have like 15 this half and we'll lose, you can just sense what's going on here.   Exact same as last year.

This will be a dog fight in the second half.

This game is going exactly like the game last year at Nebraska went.  Started out great, but then.....

Win this game and we start out 11-2 in the season after the nonconference portion.   I think we all would have taken that before the season started.

  I watched that game and I think Goodluck is actually pretty solid.  He's bad offensively, always was, but his defense and shot blocking are pretty good and would definitely have helped us.   I'd say of all the guys we missed on (Pinson, Anthony Lee, Goodluck Okonoboh) he'd be the best.

Gardner Webb up by 7 at the under 4 timeout.  Wow.

Troy did have 2 turnovers, but one of them was a nice hustle play I'll take out of him any day out of the week.  He went up for a rebound, knocked it out of a Butler player's hands, then came down with the rebound but got called for travelling after falling down and sliding on his back.  I was actually pretty pumped after that play.

  What is there not to understand?  Maybe I missed something but Hanner played well yesterday.

Wow, I can't believe I'm saying this but I could definitely see us finishing 2nd in the conference this year. I know I'm getting ahead of myself but UM and MSU aren't any better than we are.  Maryland and OSU I suppose are threats, but neither are that threatening.

ND stomping Purdue.   Looks like the Boilers will remain the worst power conference program in the state.

This is why we don't hire Steve Alford.

Indiana should not be losing to Butler.  Ever.    Come on guys get it together.

  The end of the 2nd half in the 2011 Kentucky game went pretty well from what I remember.

  He's had some help from the striped shirts though.   I hate complaining about refs, but damn....

Anthony Lee really stuffing the stat sheet against UNC today.   0-1 shooting and 3 rebounds.  Not sure what Matta promised him but I hope OSU is at least fun for him on the weekends.

  I knew that dude was a thug, and called a spade a spade during our game with UL.  So many people were saying they'd love a guy with his attitude on our team because of his "edge".    Dude's a thug.  A lot of their guys are.

  Second that, I don't feel like making breakfast this morning.

He's a pretty impressive player, but I don't know how in the world we'd find room for Ojeleye if he wanted to come.  Tom Crean may want to set the all-time record for number of guys between 6'6" and 6'8" on a roster at once.
