I'm just as concerned with their ability to develop talent, and maximize a player's abilities to fit the system best. Then again they would have to have a system to begin with. Regardless, we should have at least 6 spots to fill, most should be guards/wings, and Walker could be worth bringing on.

Walker will only be a bad pickup if we fail to get someone markedly better. The guards from Stanford and/or Belmont would be good additions. Strike out on those and then maybe Dolson's finger gets a little closer to that eject button.

But do you know if he's not on staff by his choice? Maybe he didn't want to up and move his young family so quickly after living in East Lansing for so long. He was a fairly successful coach at IPFW, coached under Izzo for ~10 seasons, then went to IU for a year. I have a hard time believing he couldn't get a job on a bench if he wanted one.

This lineup would be pretty bad defensively. Not one I'd be overly excited about tbh.

Mike Woodson has forced himself into the position of having to put together a bubble team right now. An 18-13 team losing its best player and senior point guard is not going to sniff the top 25 next season, at least not with our coach at the end of the bench.

And Purdue's road just got easier.
