I get that they need a coach by like, tomorrow. But it blows my mind they decided to promote from within on this one. How could anybody think that is a good idea? Sent from my SM-G950U using BtownBanners mobile app

Indiana vs OSU Game Thread - 8/31 @ 8:00ET on ESPN
tyappleg replied to Dalton26's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
I could be way off base here, but im pretty sure that the grass lots are for general parking and are first come first serve on the day of the game. I think when they said the "lots" are all full, they are referring to the "Reserved Lots" http://iuhoosiers.com/sports/2015/4/1/GEN_2014010198.aspx Sent from my SM-G950U using BtownBanners mobile app -

I think the ceiling is higher at OSU. But as you said, given the state of each program; I'd stay at Butler. Holtmann seems to have them rolling pretty well, while OSU is currently in pretty bad shape. I wouldn't blame him though, Butler to Ohio State is still a step up. OMG. I can't wait to listen to this. I can't believe he actually agreed to come on. I wonder if he will work with them on their Crean Tea pitch. Sent from my SM-G950U using BtownBanners mobile app

Player and Recruit Retention News/Discussion & Potential Transfers

While the Marquette team wasn't a world beater by any means, it did have 3 NBA players in Wade, Diener, and Novak. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
You should love it. Top 7 talent at 15, at a position of need. TJ green was rated the worst safety in the league by PFF, and they lost Mike Adams. Hooker is a starter from day 1. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Probably 6'5. I'd trust 247 over ESPN when it comes to recruiting info. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Well... if it hasn't happened yet from all the terrible officiating we've seen over the last several years, it won't ever happen. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

My main reason is that fouls being reset would be a huge improvement for those games where teams enter the double bonus with 13+ minutes still left to go in the game. I don't understand the commercial complaint... there's going to be commercials... switching to quarters won't change that. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

None. Quarters for college basketball can't come soon enough. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

You watching Indiana basketball in the 70's has nothing to do with the new NBA draft process that was introduced 1 year ago. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

It's just like a job interview or career fair. You go through the process, and if you aren't ready? Guess what? You at least get the experience of going through the process, going through workouts with NBA teams, hearing from NBA GM's and scouts, etc. It's a great opportunity for these guys and they should be taking advantage of it. Reading some of these responses about the guys testing the waters makes me want to rip my hair out. There are some incredibly ignorant and uneducated takes out there. People need to understand what "declaring for the draft" means now with the new rules. Literally every kid with any pro talent (NBA or overseas) should declare and get feedback. The new rules are meant to favor the student athletes and these guys are taking advantage of those rules. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
