a freshman noah gave us that presence. With noah in the middle we had an kenpom adjusted defense of 47. I think bryant can bring a presence similar to noah. Without out noah in the middle our defense was in the 200 's.

depends what scouting service you follow rivals didn't have him in their top 100. There was a reason that the kansas vs whicita st game was heated. He committed to whicita st early and then blew up late in his senior year. Kansas offered late and tried to get him to decommit. Kansas never scheduleing them added fuel to fire as well

Each new season is a chance to improve or regress. In 2013 (17-15) year we were 47th ken Pom defense, last years defense regressed to in the 200's. Same coach and most of the same players. What was the difference in the 2 years that made such a huge gap? Losing will, evan, and noah. In my opinion some of it had to do with noah in the middle. I'm not saying they will be an elite defensive team next year but they will be closer in adjusted defense on par with the 2012, 2013, and 2014 teams instead of the 2015 team

maybe if we played in a weaker conference I would agree with u but playing in the big 10 (which is a battle each game) no way would I want to play 4 or 5 of those teams in a single year maybe 2 at the most. The last time I remembering iu scheduling the agressive it backfired on mike Davis and we didn't make the tournament I respect you want a tougher schedule but it could come back to bite them if they lost to all of those teams. Last year in the non conference we played 5 ncaa tourney teams, in 2013 besides uconn we played at #4 syracuse and in 2012 besides North Carolina we played Georgetown

they played Louisville last year and played uconn in 2013 and played North Carolina in 2012. 3 of the 5 u mentioned we have played in the last 3 years. If u go back 4 years we have played 4 of the 5. Also of the list of teams u listed North Carolina (2) and Louisville (22) had a better sos then Iu (23) last year

IUs overall strength of schedule last year was 23 I would not call that weak. Now I agree ius out of conference should be better (97) but there were 5 teams in the top 25 sos that had a worst out of conference schedule (iowa state, Louisville to name a few)
