Wish we could of got Ryan Anderson on campus for a visit after he transferred from Boston college. He is playing well tonight

momouth looks like the type of team that will pull an upset as a 14 or 13 seed in March if they get in the tourney. I will definitely keep an eye on them.

yeah even without van fleet they still should of beat Alabama. I saw Bama lose to Dayton by 32. Speaking of Dayton. They r in a dog fight with Monmouth Dayton up 3 with 3 to play
-
Another highly ranked team that had a terrible showing in a tournament was 14th ranked California who went 0-2

i love college basketball too much to stop watching because iu isn't doing well(although my wife probably wishes I would boycott when iu is bad). My whole theater setup in the basement was designed with college basketball in mind. Multiple games on multiple TVs all season. I'm the college basketball nut that watched Georgia st beat iupui in ot on my tablet tonight. I know I have a sickness but I guess my addiction could be worse

Goodluck Okonoboh transferring from UNLV
Uspshoosier replied to AZ Hoosier's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Like when Fischer left mid year and went to Marquette, goodluck would have to sit out until December of next year when the second semester begins -

Dayton beats Iowa. Big 10 struggles continue in non conference (Michigan st and Purdue imo look like the 2 best teams in the conference. You can throw Maryland in there as well they finally looked like a top team against Rhode Island

personally I love watching a player develop over their 4 years in college. Now he is one of the best in the counrty. Denzel has had his ups and downs in his 4 years. Credit to the kid and to his coach for putting in the work to get better

Irish lose to Monmouth by 2

Indiana falls to UNLV - 72-69 - 6th Place Maui Invitational - 1st place Embarrassment-for-Fans Classic
Uspshoosier replied to MartintheMopMan's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
For the older fans has Indiana ever went 1-2 in a tournament in Hawaii (lose to Clemson and Texas pan America ) and go on to do something special? Just trying to spin a little positive thoughts. Lots of differences (coach) but the 81 team turned it around. Here's hoping Troy has a lightbulb turn on moment like turner did for the rest of that year. If I'm not mistaking knight benched him and almost gave up on him during a northwestern game. After that game he was probably the best player in the country (as told by my father, I would of been 3). There is a letter from knight to turner for turners induction in Indiana hall of fame that is worth a read. -
thats a 20 win team no question about it. Lol. I believe that was his quote. They finished 15-17

Misery needs company. Ucla is about to join us and go 1-2 in Maui. They are down 4 with 90 secs left

https://twitter.com/insidethehall/status/669682617969721344. as Alex tweeted. Irrelevant at this point

it will work out to where they get 4 back from the 12 they were going to lose

In my opinion it made ESPN 2 headlines because it happened at Indiana. If this was a players mom at Indiana state this story wouldn't have even been on the radar

As long as Freddie banks doesn't hit 10 threes and mark wade doesn't have 18 assists we should be fine. Sorry had a flashback to 1987 final 4 classic game

marquette at the time was in the real big east which was a power conference in basketball. They have won a championship so if I was their fans I would of expected more as well. I'm saying imo he could coach at a place that doesn't have high expectations in one of the 351 divison 1 schools with less stress and be a successful enough coach to make those fans happy. Tubby got ran out of Kentucky and then got ran out of Minnesota. Now he is coaching at Texas tech where there is hardly any pressure on him and watching some interviews he looks less stressful then he did while he was at Minnesota the last couple years. This is just my opinion

mediocre for a coach at a program with indiana's pedigree but if he coached at Indiana state it wouldn't be viewed as mediocre. Although I don't think he is the right coach for iu, he was a division 1 coach before he came here and if he wants to be he will be a division 1 coach after he leaves here just not at a high level program

understood I was just pointing out another side of it you didn't have express again why you feel he isn't good enough for iu I know where you stand on the subject. You don't have to waste writing a long paragraph on why he isn't good enough when debating with me (just cut and paste from one of your previous points on the subject). not sure I have excused anything when it relates to the current coach being good enough for iu. My view on the subject is irrelevant because until the administration feel he isn't good enough he will be here. I personally will continue to watch the product on the floor because for me watching a poorly coached iu team is better then not watching iu at all. I've watched them as long as a can remember in my 37 years and I look forward to watching them for another 37 years. A bad Star Wars movie is still a Star Wars movie and I will watch, that's how I feel about watching iu currently
