those might look like bad loses now but if those teams are in the top 100 rpi at end of the season those loses won't be bad loses according to the committee ( I still think they r bad loses just like e Washington last year rpi top 100 loss ). At the end of the day we r going to need to beat top level teams at some point in the schedule whether out of conference or in conference to build a resume.
-
i hear you but until the committee uses ken Pom, the rpi number is the only one that counts when it comes to comparing resumes to make the tournament
-
according to this strength of schedule from last year we were 23rd in sos http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/rpi/_/year/2015/sort/sos

Cline is on fire
-
you mean weakest out of conference schedule? Because at the end of the year after playing in the big 10 I would guess are overall sos will be top 50
-
purdue is playing without Davis an all big 10 defender
-
there was s reason North Carolina was preseason #1. With a healthy Paige they are a top 5 team. Pinson looks like the game is slowing down for him
-
agree Purdue and Michigan st look like the 2 best teams in the B1G this year
-
Mcintosh is going to be a stud at northwestern. I love watching him play. I definitely didn't think he would be this good in college
-
the last 5 minutes of that game look the same as 100 other last 5 minutes of other games where a better team lost
-
actually it's why you believe we were able to beat uk. My opinion and probably a lot others would say we won because our guys wanted it more aslo Terrance jones (not coaching) decided to be a no show that game
-
thats good to know I always thought upsets could happen because one team wanted it more or just outplayed them good to know its on poor coaching It's not like that Illinois team was a bad team (ken Pom 38) They made the tournament and gave Miami a hell of a game in the second round
-
isnt that why they play the games. Of course we should of won but Illinois still had to make shots. I've watched a lot of college basketball where the best team didn't win (isn't that what makes March great) Wisconsin shouldn't of lost to Rutgers last year but they did.

We still got that undefeated season going for us that the blue devils don't have. So we got that going for us, which is kind of nice

you said we should of lost the Michigan game (we won). I said we should of won the Illinois game (we lost)
-
we probably should of won at Illinois so that cancels out the should of lost the Michigan game
-
Dunn vs Valentine should be fun tonight

Another ranked Indiana team finishes 1-2 in a tournament. Notre dame loses to alabama

i would add uconn as well -
The way Xavier plays defense and the offensive weapons they have they look like a top 10 team. I'm impressed with them early. The Xavier vs Cincinnati game should be a good one this year

Just saying the talking heads on ESPN making a big deal about iu losses were only combined 7 points and that we are still a good basketball team. Do I think we are deserving from what I've seen so far, absolutely not but I could see us still ranked. Monmouth should be ranked in front of us regardless
-
it wouldn't surprise me to see us still ranked in the poll that ESPN uses. At the beginning of the year iu vs duke was one of the marquee matchups in the big ten/ acc challenge. ESPN would like the sound of 2 ranked teams playing instead of duke playing unranked iu. After watching the first couple of weeks in my opinion there were 8 teams that stood out from the rest of the field after those teams there were about 40 teams that could flip flop between each other Basically i wouldn't pay attention to a teams seed number in the tournament in March. I feel there will be more upsets then usual. Since it is early teams will get better as the year moves on hopefully iu will be one of them
