Empty crowd at the Ohio st vs penn st in Columbus at tip off. Lyle not starting tonight

Iowa started out the season losing to a top ranked division 2 school in a exibition game( imagine this place if we did that). Then they went to a preseason tournament and finished 6th (1-2) Losses to Dayton and notre dame. They could of easily finished 0-3 in that tounament because they got to play whicita state minus van vleet. They followed that up with a loss at Iowa state blowing a 20 or more point lead in the 2nd in the 2nd half. Its amazing what a little confidence can do for teams. The leaders of the big 10 so far this year both finished 6th in a pre season tounament and in some way got embarrassed on the road at a top 20 team. If I had my choice I would choose Iowa's path to the top of th big 10 so far but we will get our chance later on in conference. I wonder what their message boards were saying about Fran after that exibition game

If u r not watching football. Syracuse and Virginia are on espn2. Richardson is looking good for Syracuse. He is showing why he was one of creans highest targets last year

no he did that to Indiana state

Maybe some of the fans were also sycamore fans and were booing him because he decommitted from an Indiana school to play for a Illinois school.

iowa starts 4 seniors and a junior. That's a lineup you usually see from s mid major making a run in the tournament. For a major conference team to have that many upper classman starting has to be unusual. To me Iowa has impressed me all year even in their losses. They had Iowa st beat on the road and kind of blew it at the end of the game. I agree the winner of the B1G will still have 4 losses. I look forward to out matchups agaisnt them in the future. I have said this before but I am rooting for Iowa more this year since Fran took the time to talk basketball with me when I approached him in between games at southport watching Malik Williams -

a different take could be since there is no dominate team in college basketball this year (maybe North Carolina or Kansas) this could be a year where iu is one of at least 20 teams that could make a run in the tournament this year. The best team doesn't always win in March -

its Usps and Maryland did struggle early on in games the difference is they still won there games. Even if we would of beaten Unlv and wake forest ( combined 7pts loss it was clear there was problems with the team). Not confused at all just comparing 2 similar teams resumes and schedule in the big 10 -
Sycamores up 14 on Evansville. Great half for my alma mater

so you are impressed with Maryland's wins against northwestern twice, Penn st, Rutgers, Ohio st and wisky with no rpi top 50 wins, at least iu has one of those (notre dame) -

Awesome college basketball game. Providence takes down Villanova on the road

Dunn fouls out more than any other superstar in college basketball. Providence up 4 with 15 sec to play. Villanova shooting ft
-
Overtime Archie with a big 3
-
Dunn is ridiculous. Just hit a 3 providence up 1 with 45 to go

i have been trying to point this out for a while. Nationally people get on our weak B1G schedule so far but maryland's 6 wins are northwestern twice, penn st, Ohio st, Rutgers, and their best win at wisky
