(2017) SF Brian Bowen to Louisville

Continue to hear that Creighton is a legitimate landing spot, perhaps the favorite, for Brian Bowen. es.pn/2iEtgxO @jeffborello That would be surprising Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Family privacy act would be my guess. Same reason last year they never came out and said Blackmon tore his acl. If family doesn't want information released Indiana university can't release it Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

B1G is down this year. There are no games in the B1G that could match those wins. You and I are not settling for anything the administration is. Fwiw that terrible Nebraska loss as it sits today would not be considered a bad loss by the committee (Nebraska is top 50 rpi, you and I know it is a bad loss but to the people that actually matter it wouldn't Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

unless they go 0-18 in conference their rpi will work itself out. As of Today 8 big 10 teams are in rpi top 54, 3 others in 70-99 range, Rutgers at 114( lol u know your rpi is bad when if u beat Rutgers your rpi will go up), iu at 130 and Iowa at 145. Plenty of opportunities in conference to make up for a pathetic non conference schedule that put iu at 130 in rpi with wins over Kansas and North Carolina. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
-
Thats a little concerning. The good thing is following rpi closely over the years about midway though conference play season is when the rpi starts taking shape for a better outlook. For example uncw, middle tenn, ut-Arlington, and Illinois are all in the top 26 as of today Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Iu might be ranked 25 in the polls but I would guess their resume is closer to top 20 Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

6 or 7 seed then committee won't punish a team for losing to a top 8 team ( even if it is at home and iu should win). Do u see 32 other resumes in college basketball as of today better even if iu loses to wisky? I'm not saying I'm happy with them being a 5-9 seed but to say they will be a bubble team or miss the tournament all together is not realistic if u follow bracketolgy closely Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
-
Tough crowd. I just don't see 32 other at large teams better then iu right now even with the slide. No other team close to the bubble will have 2 top 5 rpi wins. With those 2 wins in my opinion iu could have a 8-10 record in the B1G and still make the tourney. Iu would have to have an epic meltdown collapse to miss the tournament with those wins. Just my opinion If I was doing bracketology as of today I would have iu at around a 5 or 6 seed no where near the bubble just yet Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

(2017) SF Jordan Tucker- OV 11/30/16
Uspshoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Then the question for gunn would be since he has played with and against the top Indiana talent and has been the focal point of other teams every game for the last 3 years why is ball st the leaders in his recruitment and offers from Indiana st, St. Louis, iupui, butler, and Indiana. While the gap might be closer then the rankings as they stand today in my opinion there is still a big enough gap to say tucker is the better prospect ( gunn has had his share of stinkers as well) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

One plays with 4 other division 1 kids and plays a national schedule ( tucker) and the other is the only kid with D1 talent on the team playing lesser talent. Hard to judge them purely on numbers they r putting up. In my opinion tucker is clearly the better prospect with the higher ceiling but having watch gunn in person several times this year and last he has clearly made a big jump in development. By not signing early he bet on himself and he has put himself in position to play at a higher level college then what most were expecting. Ball st was the favorite before his senior year. He should and will be playing for someone better Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
you are probably right but that was still 2 regular season champs matching up in the second round. Shouldn't of been matched up that early. Kentucky still beat duke last year during the regular season. My whole point was that Kentucky team was good. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I don't understand people trying to diminish a win against a Kentucky team they won the sec regular season and tournament ( probably should of been a 3 seed). Almost every national expert had them coming out of the region. That team also had a couple lottery picks. Sure that's not good enough for IU fans over 35 but sadly for IU fans under the age of 30 those sweet 16 runs are about the only success they have experienced ( besides one magical run to the final game). Sure crean isn't the guy but making light of the fact they beat a really good Kentucky team last year doesn't seem like the right way to go about it Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
-
So u think they are a team closer to missing the tournament entirely instead of team that gets a mediocre seed? Somewhere in the middle is a team that will make the tournament with a 5-9 seed line. A team that loses to Nebraska and IPFW doesn't make the tournament and a team that beats Kansas and North Carolina gets a top 3 seed in my opinion Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
