What happens if they lose the games u want them to lose and no coaching change happens. You might want Y as the end result and go ahead with X but what happens if it turns out you end up with Z instead of Y. I respect your opinion on the matter I just won't agree with it which is what a message board is for (different t opinions). I just don't follow your reasoning saying the kids don't deserve to win these games you want them to lose with a coach most people on here agree isn't the right coach but the same kids deserve a better coach. Since iu being mediocre isn't a new phenomenon that has happen in the last 9 years and has been going on since 1995 some of the older posters have gone though a similar time regarding a coach that obviously wasn't the right guy. In my early 20s I had the same approach as you have now I wanted iu to lose to get rid of Davis. Anyone will be better then Davis and IU will return back to the mountain top. I'm still waiting. Earlier I said you probably didn't a have kids if u wanted someone's kids to lose for the benefit of the program as a whole. Having kids changed my perspective on my views in my early 20s. If someones kid sacrificed most of his childhood to become a division 1 player the hours of practice, aau traveling, etc. if it was my kid would I want them to fail? Like many on here I dreamed of playing basketball at Indiana and wearing the jersey with INDIANA on he front but like many I wasn't good enough or didnt sacrifice and put in the amount of work to make it so these kids act as proxies for some on here. Some of these kids worked their ass off since they were 6 to have a chance to live out their dream to play in a NCAA tournament with a chance at a title. So as I fan since I want crean gone (which I do) I should want that kids dream to fail for the programs best interest? Some can, I won't. So when my 5 year old puts on his candy stripes tonight to match his 38 year old dad in his candy stripes I will be cheering for the Hoosiers to win despite my desire for a new coach.
