Personally I feel they should have stayed in the A-10 when they made the move there instead of jumping right into the Big East. Tough to be low NIL in a power 5 conference these days

They could however they passed on him last cycle and that was before the other incident. It was reported iu looked into his past and found too many skeletons in his closet. This time around I don’t see any way they would change their view. Louisville and Kentucky had openings last year and Beard didn’t get a sniff at either of them. Schools that are known for overlooking stuff chose Pope and Kelsey over Beard. Luckily for Beard the SEC has teams that don’t care about some stuff and are willing to take a chance. Interesting to see in the coming years if any schools outside the sec will take a chance
