i think the thing Woodson has going for him is the B1G isn’t a very good conference. It should be another down year for the league. None of the new programs are going to add much. Malik McKenzie Bryson Transfer Trey That leaves about 3 more rotational players. Is Woodson banking on Newton and Leal being the shooters? I don’t anticipate Indiana playing more than 8 guys.

My #1 concern coming into last season was shooting. This season may be the same. Disappointing.

I agree! Kentucky should’ve hired Woodson. I’ve been begging for that! I haven’t heard anything positive about Pope. I think he’s gone in 3 years.

I rather have John because he can recruit and his NBA connections are unreal.

So what’s the big deal with this Rice kid? He’s shooting 28% from 3, (okay that’s Mike Woodson style I’ll give you that), he averages 3 turnovers a game, but puts up 15PPG in the worst power conference. He’s listed at 6’3”, that’s ideal. Can he defend? I’m too lazy to pull up Synergy. Indiana needs bodies I guess.

This is college basketball. There is no salary cap. There are really no rules. Coaches are sliding into DM's daily, during the season and after the season. Whether the kid is in the portal, coaches are still reaching out. Does your program have good NIL support? You're in luck. Are you a mid-major head coach with a pretty good kid with pretty good numbers? Sorry, he's entering the portal. This is why head coaches are retiring. This is why the NCAA will be mid-majors only here in a few years. B1G and SEC will create the new league.

Mike Woodson is the man for the job. He has just as many contacts in the NBA than coach Cal. He's been to the tournament twice in three years at Indiana! He's in his prime! Kentucky, you need to reach out to Mike Woodson!

Kids committing before visiting are getting the full-court press from the coaching staff and perhaps a great NIL incentive. Woodson got serious for a minute landing Bryson Tucker, they paid the highest dollar amount and got rewarded. But the portal has been open for several weeks now and they still haven't landed anyone. It's concerning in my opinion.

Any chance Woodson gets considered for Kentucky? he’s highly qualified which is why he landed the Indiana job!
