Defense is key... but isn't it the key every game?ha     I say we run a 2-3 zone. Can Pitt shoot? i liked our 2-3 the times we have ran it this season.

As a side note, i finally learned CTC has Hanner move back into the dorms . lol

some of our 3's went in   some of the other guys went in   defense was.... okay at times. All in all, i think our overall defense is average, maybe below average. Hanner falls for every shot attempt , which will kill us in the B1G.   Our offense.. ehhh. i don't even know.    I've said it before, i'll say it again, if our three's are not falling, the game will be tough to watch. Live and die by the three.

We are terrible, we wont go anywhere. I dont see us dancing this year at all..

With the lack of inside game, the B1G will have its way with us.. With the lack of no set plays.. we'll lose. With the lack of defense.. we'll lose. If our threes are not falling... oh boy. Of course our boys will come out and play friday, but i wouldnt even count it since its a cup cake. Let me see us play a real team after last night...

Watched the whole game. Here are my thoughts   -Terrible Offense -No Rebounding -Decent Defense at times.. got sluggish in the second half  -No Inside game at all -Troy can dunk -Yogi has some clutch in him -If our threes don't fall, we will lose.      Our offense is just turrrrible, drive and dish and miss. We don't seem to run any set plays at all especially when we need one.    oh yeah... FREE THROWS.... YIKES.     Just terrible.

Troy needs to slow it down more and let the game come to him. Once his handles and strength improve, then maybe he'll be more efficient at scoring while driving into the lane. 

    I agree. I'm not a fan of the pacers but i do watch them since i live in Indiana. Though offense can be hard to watch at times. It kind of reminds be of Wisconsin ball.. but not really lol

    With the east being so TERRIBLE, they should always be a top 4 seed for the next several years with PG in the mix. How PG will respond after his injury will be seen once he returns in February, but i agree with your point that they need to add a few more players to compete to go against the mighty western conf.   Roy needs to show up past January and they Frank needs to work on his offense. 

Quick thoughts. If our shot for whatever reason is not falling, we are screwed. Hanner had a bad game with a few good posessions. Our interrior size is a huge weakness and we will be exposed come B1G play. Turnovers below 10? am i dreaming? Offense looked a little lazy at times.. defense as well was hit and miss during the game. I think SMU is a good challenge but not great challenge. They are not pre season ranked in my books, i believe we couldve won by 15 based off better defense alone. Overall, a win is a win. Come B1G play, i hope we gain better chemistry with Troy and Stan back. Not quite sure if Priller or Holt will play much. But our inside game amd defense need to improve if we want to go dancing. HOOSIERS!

This has cursed the Pacers franchise as i believe they will never make it to the big stage.
