    So basically you are saying we no longer or anyone else for the matter needs donors/booster for NIL coffers. Revenue sharing gets funneled into NIL coffers and can be paid directly from the universities? See this seems to me to be illegal/NCAA violation of how NIL is suppose to be paid.

    Agreed IU needed to lock him down. I just hope (fingers cross) that CIG is a long term savior as he was his first year. If he consistently makes bowls (winning records) during his tenure here then well worth it.

    But there was a 0 tolerance policy that Brand put in place after the choking...he knew Knight couldn't live up to it. So back to being Brand's fault LOL.

    If the same thing persist, then yes be pissed. But I feel like CIG is going to get a lot more NIL this year. I just hope he doesn’t screw the pooch. Got a huge contract after a great year. I’m hoping that it doesn’t turn into a Tom Allen situation. I know Cig got a lot more history than Tom does. But we opened up the checkbook for Tom after one good season. Look what that did for us.

    Garrett and Smart are the reasons we won back then. Those two had awesome year. Nobody could stop Smart in the open court. Garrett was perfect complaint to Thomas. Fun times.
